Hi! I attempted to locate the Dentzer grave at Lutheran. There is only one individual grave marker on the lot, that of Richard Hacke (1936-1952). The lot number is inscribed on that stone. However, there is a general marker as well, indicating this was the plot of the Ottilie Home, which I believe was an orphans' home.I will add the photo of the Ottilie Home marker. If you feel this is not correct, please let me know and I will delete it.

Hi...what is the source for his place of death? I can't seem to locate him past 1940. Thanks, Bev (just send the response through a sac)
|Marcia Lynne vonGunden||Transfer & thank you|
Are you kidding me??..that was the fastest turnover ever...I clicked back to your profile and entered the surname York...none popped up and I wondered how that could be.
Thank you so very much for the transfer...I hope you will be pleased with the addition I plan to make.
BTW...I am in Santa Cruz every other Thurdsay (yes, I live in nearby Campbell) to attend an auction at A&A Auction...ever been?

I loved the bio. Thank you very much. What a wonderful history. Thanks again!

I think this is the same person as your obit. I found the birth date from social security and the matching death date on the Wisconsin death index.

Corrections have been made, the death date must have been a data entry error on my part.
You can add a photo of the obit to his memorial if you want, or if you'd prefer, you can type it and I'll add it to the bio section.

|Gary Walker||Emil Roth Find A Grave Memorial# 127230410|
Wolfskirchen, Bas-Rhin, Alsace-Lorraine, the birth place of Emil Roth was a part of Germany at the time of his birth in 1874, so he was in fact born in Germany. This territory was annexed by Germany in 1871 following it's victory in the Franco-Prussian War. This area did not become part of France again until 1918 following World War I.
I could not locate him in the 1900 census, but I did find him in every other one. 1905 Wisconsin gives birth in Germany, 1910 gives birth as Germany, 1920 gives birth as Alsace, 1930 gives birth as Alsace-Lorraine, 1940 gives birth as France, which also would be correct because his place of birth was now a part of France. Also his U.S. Naturalization Record in 1914 states: Birth Place: Germany.
