Bio Photo Taphophilia: a passion for and enjoyment of cemeteries.

I am in the process of photo-documenting Sts. Peter & Paul cemetery in St. Louis. If you are aware of errors in any of my entries, please let me know. PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" LINKS AND PROVIDE YOUR MEMBER NUMBER (located next to your name on your member page) if requesting a transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: Because I receive a lot of email, I typically do not reply when sent an edit - just check back in a couple days and you should see it. I usually make edits within a couple days. If it has been over a week, please resend as I may not have received it.

In addition to adding my family, I enter other graves. I am always happy to transfer a grave to a family member, or to update the grave as requested.

Families I am researching for my family include Mueth, Heidenfelder, Bockius, Buehler, Danneman, Frank/Franck, Freymyer, Meurer and Zieger--primarily found in the U.S. in St. Louis and Southern Illinois.

On my husband's side, I am researching Torrence, Findley, Watt, Comstock, Peterson, Norton, Brown, Bieth, Sentman, Ritchie and Sixbury--from all over the Northeast.

Hi! Katie, Since they have no markers. Do you have their location so I can record something besides no marker: Sect #, Lot #, Row #, Space or Grave #.
Thank you for answering my request. Have a great day tomorrow. Take care & God bless.

You have done an excellant job of posting their 15 children's memorials. How are you related? Marie Gertrude married Arthur Joseph Larkin. Art's brother Roy Joseph Larkin Jr. married my cousin Cleo Gertrude Williams. Look forward to hearing from you.

Arthur Joseph Larkin #33345238
Hi! Katie,
I see that you posted this memorial, are you related to the Larkin family? One of my cousins, Cleo Gertrude Williams marred a Roy Joseph Larkin Jr. This Roy is on a 1930 census with a brother recorded as Arthur Larkin & a father recorded as Roy Joseph Larkin Sr.. Roy senior is buried in Jefferson Barrakcs Nationl Cem., in St. Louis, Mo.
If so I'd like to see the members connected by the Family Link.Let me know what you think of the possibility of a family connection? Thank you for your time & consideration. Have a great week. Take care & God bless.

RE: Franks and Mueths
The Franks that I am referring to would more than likely show up in the 1940 Census living in Prospect Park or French Village, St. Clair County Il.

Franks and Mueths
There were some Franks that lived in French Village just outside of East St. Louis, Il. Part of it was called Prospect Park. One of the daughters, Susan, married a Pirtle and they lived in Shiloh, Il. Our daughters went to school with their children. There are several Mueths that my husband knows from being in construction. I believe they live in the Millstadt Il area.

RE: NASH Cemetery, St. Francois Co., MO
Are you related in any way? If you want to transfer them to me I would be thrilled to get them.

Thank you for your work on these. I just have not had time to get them on Find A Grave. I am putting our MARSH / MASH / NASH Family Ancestors and Descendants into Book form, and it is finally going to the Printer by the 15th of August. All the same Family Line, the Surname just changed over the years, I have DNA Tests proving this.

I have been at this since December 1999. I have our complete Family Tree, "The Webs We Weave" posted on Tribal Pages. The NASH Family Line is my Dad's Family Line, and I currently have them traced back to 946AD in England, as MARSH.

Thank you again,
Joyce

RE: NASH Cemetery, St. Francois Co., MO
There is an "R" Nash headstone in the NASH Family Cemetery, but it is not Robert. It is Riley Nash.

I am the person who had Bettye Warner, Jan Scott, and Steve Topping (A Cousin), take pictures of our Nash Family Cemetery and I had Bettye put it on the St. Francois County website.

We have at least 25 Family members resting there, and I am told that there could be as many as 35 to 40, due to the Rocks and their positions used for Head and Foot Stones.

I live in CA., so it is hard for me to get to Missouri, or I would have it Cleaned and the Fencing put back up. It is a shame that it has been let go for so many years.

Thank you,
Joyce Nash-Wafford

Perhaps a similar note should be added to his memorial to prevent confusion. Nora
