I work part time and enjoy going to cemeteries and hopefully I'm preserving someones' family history. I am in Sullivan County, NY and just recently started going to cemeteries and taking as many pictures of headstones and adding them to this great site. If there is anyone that wants me to take pictures in the Callicoon, Hortonville, Jeffersonville, North Branch, Liberty, White Sulphur Springs, Youngsville, Livingston Manor, Roscoe area...just let me know. I've been in a very old cemetery and lots of the inscriptions are almost gone...I find my searching very comforting knowing that I'm getting family history for someone! Feel free to contact me! HAPPY HUNTING!!! Holly |

I have bumped into you many times with my Honesdale relatives and ancestors! How I have appreciated what you have posted! What a great news article! It's such a sad story. I added Fred's birth to the record and fixed his name to Frederick R. Dapper The death cert just states Welcome Lake as the burial or removal place. Not sure exactly where he is buried. The date is 20 Feb 1920 for burial. He would have been my gr grandfathers brother.
Thank you again. I wish I could come comb the cemeteries with you....but I am in Idaho and not able to get to Honesdale easily.

For the 35th time: Does the S CoR on the bottom of Jerome's obit mean "South Corner"? His dght. was my grandmother and I have been trying to find her grave. Mother said she died of thyphoid. Total information. I believe Uncle Bert(Fuller) was simply cleaning up the mess that his brother made by marrying a girl 30 yrs. his junior. Ergo no one made mention. She married a travellin' man named Walter Fisher about the 3rd of the month and he was last seen going down the railroad tracks with his pockets stuffed with silverware. Agnes died a couple weeks later. She's neither in Roscoe with Chas. and first wife nor in Cooks Falls with the rest of the family.I am left to assume she is buried with her father. Any answers? Any info? Note: Benjamin(Jerome's father) was born in the U.S. Benjamin's father Peter was a revolutionary war vet. Either Peter or his father Heinrich(?) came over from Holland. The Dutch originally settled the Hudson Valley and took some time to overcome fear and Indians to settle the "Katerskills".
Helen, I have come across a lot of your research and photos while looking for my ancestors in Sullivan County and just wanted to thank you for your work. Much appreciation, Mark
Thanks for the great work you are doing. Would you transfer management of these sites to me? These are all relatives of mine and I would like to add additional information to the sites.

Thanks for the information. It just shows it as Farmers Valley Cemetery. Is this the right one?
