Thank you so much for the transfer.
|Jon La Brie||William R White|
My name is Jon and William R White (Find A Grave Memorial# 82442953)is my great, great grandfather.
In doing genealogical research on him I'm in the process of trying to verify various sources of information.
You say that he was born in North Carolina. May I ask what is your source of information?
(Some of his recorded documents say he was born in Tennessee and others say North Carolina.)
Any clues you are able to offer would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards, Jon

I'm writing to let about my great grandmother, Estella. She has been difficult to track, thanks to the four marriages.
She was birn Estella Caroline Kaufman on Apr 11, 1877 in Hamilton County, Illinois to Mathias Kaufman and Margaret Elizabeth McMillen. She married her first husband Mr. Trammel about 1895. They had two daughters - Muriel Joy Trammel Maulding Wimmer in 1896 And Affie in 1898. My understanding is that he died. She then married my great grandfather James Isaiah Warren in April 1900. They had seven children: William M in late 1900, Albert E in 1902, my grandmother Cora Edna Warren Vaughn in 1904, Charles M in 1906, Lanora Alberta Warren Koker in 1910, Homer F in 1912 and John in 1915. I believe that they split up soon after John's birth. At anr rate, she and John were living with Charles by 1920 when she was living with Charles Murray. They stayed together until he died in 1941 (as far as I have found).
As far as Beasley is concerned, I don't have a clue but the only time I cannot account for is the time following his death in 1941 and hers in 1948 so I think he must fit in that time.

More info: Rebecca Sellers seems to be the married name of Joseph and Rebecca's daughter, Rebecca. She married an Marcus DL (DeLafayette) Sellers.

My research indicated that Joseph James (Find A Grave Memorial# 89207443) was married to Rebecca Hathaway born 9/11/1804 and died 10/25/1891. You have his memorial linked to a Rebecca Sellers same statistics. Do you have any more information that you could share?
|Steve McAnelly||RE: Question|
Robert Eugene Williams, Memorial ID # 84519096, is the one I am asking about.
I see you added the picture of Robert on the memorial. Are you related to him?
I am looking for a Robert E. Williams who is the son of Wallace and Lena (Newberry) Williams. All there is for the Robert I am trying to track Robert on Family Search is the name 'Robert E. Williams.' No dates of birth or death.
The Robert I am looking for is a grandson of Wallace Pinkney Williams. Williiam Pinkney is my great grandfather. His son, Benjamin O. Williams - Wallace's brother - was my great grandfather.
I do not find an obituary of this Robert Eugene in the Decatur, Illinois, newspapers either.
Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.
Thanks for the photo. I really appreciate it..
