|Working on researching our family and found this great site. While visiting cemeteries searching for family graves, we take additional photos and often photograph an entire cemetery when time allows. It is our hope that others will benefit as much as we have from other contributors that have volunteered their time to create memorials and/or add photos for our families.|
Since there are so many factors (weather, too much sun, sun at the wrong angle, weathered and aging stones, graves that are difficult to photograph etc.) if a better photo is obtained at a later date, please contact us through "suggest a correction" and we will gladly remove our photo. We also appreciate any updates, corrections, additions or family links to memorials.
We are happy to transfer a memorial that is not part of our family. To request a transfer, use the edit tab in the upper right and then under "suggest a correction" ask for the transfer of the memorial and include your contributor number and how you are related.

Thanks for the links. I added them to the memorial. Geo
Thanks for the tip on Erna. Do you know where she was born in MN?

Source used was Genweb site of county. Often these are subject to error unfortunately.
I will transfer to you as I am a volunteer only and have no connection to this family.
I am the grandson of Elsa Epke Harmening, who was the daughter of Fred Epke and Louise Bode.
I am always interested in family tree information, and particularly in learning more about the Epke family. Do you have information?
If not related could you transfer #30346414 and #30346415 to smjc47? These are my great grandparents!

|Iaed||RE: Wrong photo|
Can't figure out how that happened since everything is labeled correctly in my files and the names are not similar, but I've fixed it. Thanks for the heads up.

|Jan Dahlquist||Charles Albrecht|
another findagrave volunteer MN Headstone Hunter searched the following cemeteries (looking for him) but no luck
St. John's Lutheran, Nicollet County
West Newton Cemetery, Nicollet County
Ft. Ridgley Cemetery, Nicollet County
Clear Lake Swedish Lutheran
Zion Eden Lutheran
wonders if they might be in New Ulm Public Cemetery which is right next to the Lutheran Cemetery, there are other Albrechts buried there.
|Jan Dahlquist||Fredericka Bold Albrecht|
I do note her obit says nothing about the place of burial, just where the funeral was held. And there is a will for her husband Charles in Nicollet County in 1891. I would bet that he is buried there and so was she. Maybe we can solve the puzzle some day.
|Deana Henry||Sarah Brandvold|
If Sarah Branvold isn't a family memorial, could you please transfer it to me? She is my ggg-aunt. Her maiden name was Thorgerson. Her father was Sondre (Sonder) Thorgerson from Telemark Norway and her mother Was Anna Nelsdatter Hansen from Rosiboe, Norway. She had three sisters, Isabelle (my great grandmother), Bertha, who married a Sarvold,Alice, who married a Howe and Anna, who married a Halverson. Sarah was born 18 May 1877 in Wiota, Cass, Iowa and died 21 Sep 1924 in Rembrandt, Barnes, Buena Vista, Iowa. There were no children that we know of. Her parents are buried in Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids, Buena Vista, IA. If you don't want to transfer the memorial, could you add her parents?
Father - Find A Grave Memorial# 36381527
Mother - Find A Grave Memorial# 36525967
Thank you! -- Deana
