Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have had a passing interest in family geneology for a long time, but only got into it more in the last few years.

I am interested in Rosenthal, Schechinger, Sondag, Book, & Heller. My extended family came from Germany in the 1800's & lived in western Iowa.

I am also interested in Carson in Chicago & Goddette/Martin in Vermont.

If you find any errors, duplicates, typos, etc, in any of my entries, please let me know. I will be glad to fix them. Please use the Edit tab, Suggest a Correction (SAC). If you have more information, I will add it or release management to you if you are a relative or friend.

If you know who wants to receive errors, let me know. Also, I am looking for someone to locate the stone that says "Guilliams" and tell me what graves surround it. I got the maps today from 1956 so I will cross reference Billion Graves, the Eagle Scout Rootsweb transcription and your project. Being most burials have a stone, your photo program is very valuable as the definitive source. Thank you for all your work. If you know how to contact Eric Haugen who supervised the Rootsweb Eagle Scout program or the person who takes corrections from Rootsweb, please let me know. Cordially, Gracee

Do you live in the area? So far I have talked to Jim who is in the Sacramento area....I was coming in person but my husband "revised" the itinerary for this year.

I am comparing old maps with the Eagle Scout transcription on Rootsweb and Find A Grave and photo transcriptions on behalf of a client whose relatives are there per their obits but don't appear. There are 8 or so maps and around 3,000 total so I will be at it for awhile. If you have looked at Billion Graves, they have a page and a half of "what's this" entries! I keyed in 1,000 for my home town and that was quite an undertaking so this will be large...Thank you for all your work, among us all we will at least reduce the confusion. Billion Graves has a little stone with "Guilliams" on it that the walkers missed so I will find out where that is for starters.

Could the Willard A. be a duplicate and the death date a misreading?

Leroy Henry Churchill
I noted that you manage the memorial for Leroy and his family. You did not have a date of death, because none was marked on the memorial stone. That was because he had not died until this past week. Leroy Henry Churchill B. March 7, 1932 died Sunday March 30, 2014. His service was today April 7, 2014. He will be buried with his family today. The Statesman Journal had his obituary posted until April 6, 2014. The arrangements were through Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.

It would be wonderful if you would update his site with the date of death and burial. Leroy was a personal friend of mine and a good friend to many others.

Thank you for being a find a grave volunteer.

If you would like info on his obituary I would be glad to share it.

Belle Passi Cem - Million
Many thanks for getting the headstones of Charles and Malissa Million onto Find A Grave. I love to see them and they sure help with the family research.

I wonder if you'd allow me to use the pics in the family research, with credit, of course?
