Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 7. I have been researching my ancestry along with my sister Debbie. We have really enjoied hunting and searching for our past. Find A Grave has been an excellent source of information for us. I feel it is very important to contribute to this site and do it in a manner that is respective and accurate. I'll be glad to take volunteer photos. I'm located in Adamsville, Jefferson County, Alabama. I am willing to go to Walker County any time. Any other info or document copies needed from Adamsville's Public Records I will attempt to obtain for you.

Please feel free to use any of the photos I post on this site! God has blessed me with the ability to photograph these headstones.

If I have made a mistake on any of the memorials that I have created or maintain, please feel free to send me edits. If you are a direct relative and would like a memorial transferred to you, please make your requests via the edit tab and I will gladly transfer unless they are also my direct relative.

Some of the Surnames that I am researching include: Cairns, Roberts, Ragland, Rouse, Campbell, Creel, Cruce, Palmer, Mueller, Sherwood.

RE: Bradley
Hi,

Based on several things, I am changing Bonnie's birthdate. Jim and Sandra told me it was wrong. The 1920 Census was taken January 12, 1920. If it said she was 4/12s it would be wrong because she was born in February. It says 11/12. the SSDI lists her birthdate as February 23, 1919. When she married in December 1935, she gave her age as 17. Mother (Willie) was born December 1917 and Venice was born April 1918.

So putting it all together, I would say the picture is middle of 1919.

Bradley
Are you related to the Bradley family? My Grandmother was Annie Bradley Brock. Lindsey, Robert (Sr.) and Horace Bradley were her brothers. I had looked for Athel's memorial before you created it. Thank you.

RE: My Nephew
Oh Pam,

You think you have it so bad, until you learn of
some else's trials! Thank you for sharing this,
it helps. Between my mom and my nephew, we lost
my husbands 39 year old cousin to suicide. We still do not understand this either, but we-as
you just said, God does have a plan, we just have
to hang in there.

Oh my goodness! No you didn't tell me you have
a fire works business!!! Bless you! You are a
very busy person! You just take care during your
busy time, and we will talk on the phone when
you have time. Happy 4th to you and your family.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

Becky

RE: My Nephew
Hi Pam,

Just wanted to let you know that we just buried the only grandchild of my parents-the son of my
brother, Eric and his wife, Wanda, this past
Friday. Michael was only 44 and left a wife of
20 years, with 2 children-a daughter 9 and son 6
years old. Michael died from an allergic reaction
to a "wasp sting". Michael had been stung countless times before and had NO reaction, but
this time, something had changed in his body and
he did not know it and it killed him. My brother
and his wife are just devastated, our family was
small before-but now we are really small and just
lost. I worry about my brother and sister-in-law
who is a sister to me-they are all I have left.
It's hard for me to believe that I have buried 2
members of family in less than 6 weeks. We now
are just taking one day at a time.

I hope all is well you and your family-give them
all a extra hug, we just don't know what tomorrow
will bring.

Thinking of you,
Becky

Pam
Did you receive the photos I sent out to you? I don't have many , but would be glad to sort through what I have in storage when time permits and see what else I might come up with. I'm having back surgery within the next month so will be unable to do much until after I'm healed up.
Thanks

Donna Martin Wilson
Infant Painter at Shady Grove, Jefferson County
Please ignore the edit I sent you on Infant Painter. I just realized there are 2 of them. In my family tree I only knew of 1 so I have to do more research. Thanks, Donna

So glad you claimed him. I am a Roberts but this is not my line but Elmwood is such a huge cemetery that I try to record familiar names whenever I am out there! :D ~ Liz

RE: John Martin Crauswell
No problem. My reason for asking is only because he is a Crauswell as am I. I let it slip my memory that you are more closely related and in relationship than I.
Blessings,
Elizabeth

RE: Ola Mae Kemp Rouse
Hey Pam,

Wow-I am so excited about the new additional
memorials to Cane!! I did not realize so many
of Aunt Martha's children were buried there.

Mom is about the same. We are all taking it day
by day and trying to hang in there.

Thank you for all you do.

Your cousin and friend,
Becky
