RE: Theodore Cooper Burial
It's very possible there is no stone but the strange thing is that the church cemetery can't find a record of it. The information was posted by an admin. named Karen who wrote a lot about her husband and children. It had to come from somewhere but I haven't been successful in tracing the source yet. It mentions an obit in the "SC Independent" which I haven't found yet either.

RE: Theodore Cooper Burial
Thank you so much for the prompt reply. I apologize for the Juliette Cooper Fair mistake. Theodore and Gilbert were her siblings and I'm having a difficult time locating her grave in that cemetery. I've written the findagrave admin. person as well as the church cemetery who say she's not there.

Thank you again!

Theodore Cooper Burial
Hi Cindy,

I've written you a few times about the Juliette Cooper Fair but haven't heard back. I want to make a correction to the information you have for Theodore Cooper. His parents are listed as Gilbert M. & Catharine Cooper. You show the father as Theodore. It is a double stone. The information is correct for his brother, Gilbert Austin Cooper.

Thank you for all your efforts.

RE: Margaret Grimley
If the obit is available, it would be interesting, but don't go to any trouble. Thanks again for the info. Can I ask where you found the obituary?

Margaret Grimley
Hello Cindy,
Thanks for your suggestion. I made some edits to Margaret Grimley's page after seeing your email. I also edited that of Lavinia Croot Grimley, her sister-in-law.
I am curious as to where you found the info about Margaret Grimley's maiden name. I am happy that people such as yourself are so helpful with cemetery records, but I am curious about the source, mostly because I wonder whether I might be missing steps in my family research.
Thanks again,

Thanks much for accepting the edits to Alexander Michie's memorial AND much to my surprise transferring management to me. Much appreciated as I can easily now tweak it on the occasion that new info becomes available.

Looking down my messages I figured out what our prior contact had been - the obituary for Elizabeth Frantz Raffensperger, your ancestress. Looks like we're cousins by marriage!

Wow, Is that all the obit said? Where did you happen to find it?

Do you happen to remember where the information
"age 35 years
wife of John
late residence 273 Edmund St"

came from?
Thanks :)
