Capt. Alexander Dunn

Hello, I am more than glad to add the information as you requested to Capt. Dunn's memorial page. The Tohopeka Chapter of the DAR was responsible for the VA government issue marker added at the grave site at the foot of the original marble headboard. I actually placed the monument there for them when I was around 18 years old. An appropriate ceremony was held with some Dunn descendants coming from Texas. I believe this all occurred around 35 years ago.

William Neal
Vonnie, I am writing about the relationship of my 6th G Grandfather James Clinton and William Neal.
I just noticed you left a flower for James just a few days ago! Evidently we are on the same wavelength!
Anyway, I was amazed to find a memorial for Wm Neal. I am sending you an edit with some bio I hope you will add to your memorial for him.
Thanks for your work and dedication, you are the bee's knees!

Andrew John Edwards
Hi Vonnie, It was so good to see Andrew John Edwards memorial that you did for him. I have worked on my Edwards family for most of 30 yrs. And have found that my 4th Grt GrndF David L. Edwards is Andrew John's Son. I notice that you listed his Children and David is not listed. Could you please tell me where you found his list? Maybe I have been misinformed, and would like to confirm David's Father.
Thank you for helping, and all you do,

Hi Vonnie, thanks so much for the information,I added it.I might sponsor his memorial so that I can add photos of the originals.
I went to the King Mountain Battlefield where he fought and it was amazing. Would you happen to have any death records?

Thank you so much for the detailed documentation regarding my Great Great Grandfather George (Hofstatlar) Huffstutler 1763-1844 and his service at the Battle of King's Mountain during the Revolutionary War. Even though I did have "some" of his documentation in his "own words", I assure you that your historical research/documentation in its entirety was so much more than I could ever imagine. No words can I express how much this means to me and to my family. I will treasure this forever. GREAT WORK!! I did update his Findagrave Memorial. Thank you, again.

Shadrack Wilbanks at Macedonia in Dekalb Co AL
I am connected to the Wilbanks family in my Martin family line. I have been told that James and Elizabeth (Martin) Wilbanks are in this cemetery. Not for sure that they would be connected to Shadrack Wilbanks. I have not been able to find them, but they may be 2 of the many whitewashed stones in this cemetery. Their son is at Beulah in Marshall Co. AL. Elizabeth's nephew James Cooper Martin is in this Macedonia and another nephew Elbert Martin is at the other Macedonia in DeKalb Co.(Geraldine area). The 2 lower pics on Shadrack's memorial are some I took that I believe say TM (?JM) Wilbanks, but until I know for sure I have not opened an individual memorial. It is a stone right next to his. Thanks for any help.

Cantrell Nance Family

I have been doing research on my family. My grandmother, Lillian Cantrell Nance was daughter to Elias Cantrell. My dad's name was William Elias Nance. I wonder how we are related.

Love to hear from you.

I am related to James Trimble that is buried in Old Monmouth Cemetery. I believe that he is also the father of John Trimble a Rev. War Solider. John later moved to Georgia. I have been searching for any record of his grave. Is there a photo available of James's grave?
