I love cemeteries! I walk my area cemeteries frequently.|
If you see a name I have added, chances are I have a photo to go with the name. Use the "Request A Photo" link OR use the "Suggest A Correction" and write to me asking if I have the photo.
Please remember this site is FIND A GRAVE ... not Find A Family Tree. There are lots of other sites (such as Ancestry) for creating your family trees.
If you have corrections and/or additions, please let me know. I work very hard to make these Champaign County, OH memorials accurate.
However, please be SIGNED IN when you request a correction or have additions and LIST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!!!
"Visitor" info will be deleted.
If I have questions, I need to contact you.... otherwise I will NOT contact you further when edits are done.
If you are requesting a transfer of one of your direct grandparents, please be sure to include your ID# in your request!
If not your direct grandparent, I will gladly make your additions. Please follow the guidelines for requesting transfers, and only ask for grandparents, siblings, etc... no cousins, aunts, uncles.
Also, please don't add "unknown burials" unless you are going to update the memorial to a proper cemetery within 30 days. I won't add parental or spousal links to "unknown burials".
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!!
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from an existing memorial & then ask others to delete their "duplicate". For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.
Also, no need to send me info such as
"Mr & Mrs John Doe have another child, Jane Doe"
Or... "Mr Doe has a wife Jane who died XXX"
That's fine, but unless they have a memorial page, I cannot link them. Please create a page for additional spouses or children & link them, or send the contributor the link numbers. I can't link children unless I am their memorial creator.
These are the names I am currently searching. I won't transfer memorials related to anyone with the following surnames:

|Sara V||Minerva Atherton's grave|
Candy-really appreciate your work in photographing graves and providing vital information re dates.
Minerva Atherton is my husband's great grandmother and in doing research, we noticed there are two findagrave entries for her at Fairmount Memorial Park in Alliance. Neither include a picture of the gravestone and each entry has a different birth date. Yours lists 26 Dec 1869 and the other by Jason a November birth date in 1868. Based on information we have found online we believe your 1869 date is correct but are wondering if there is any chance a picture of the grave can be taken for confirmation. Thank you,

Hi Candy, I am so grateful for the time you have taken to answer my photo request and what a great photo it is!I can actually read the headstone. It is such a wonderful gift that you give to those of us that are unable to take the photos of our ancestors headstones. May I have your permission to use the photo in my genealogy records? I will give you full recognition for taking the photo. Again, thank you and God bless you and yours, Margaret
|Kati McSweeney||Derr & Runkle @ Cedar Point Cemetery|
Thank you so much for posting the tombstone photos of my cousins Margaret Effie (nee Byers) and George R. Derr, daughter-in-law Nettie (nee Weedon) Derr Groves, daughter and son-in-law Neva (nee Derr) and Emmett Runkle at Cedar Point Cemetery for my family and me!
Helping those who live so far away from their deceased ancestors and relatives is not only a selfless act of kindness on your part, it is also a cherished and priceless gift that you give to us.
May God bless you and yours in all your endeavors!
With heartfelt gratitude,

Thanks for the pictures! By chance were these two right next to each other? If you don't remember that is fine. Thought I would ask. Thanks again
