John "Tex" LaGrone
While taking a photo today of John's stone, I also took one of his wife, buried next to him. If you will create a memorial for her, I will be glad to add the photo.

Here is his death record - it would be my guess that Henry's name is either James Henry or Henry James Kern

James Kern

No records for James Kern exist in Oak Hill Cemetery. Could James Kern's actual name be Henry James Kern?? The dates coincide, however, are not exact. Please advise.

RE: Thenks for Wanda Lagrone's grave pic.
The only other LaGrone I noticed near Wanda was Robert H of World War I. I believe the Robert who is on the stone with Wanda is Robert H Jr and perhaps he hasn't died yet or is buried elsewhere?

RE: Robert Henry Lagrone Sr.
Yes, I noticed that too. I can't seem to edit that connection, I will request that the person who set up the memorial remove it.

I put the picture I took in let me know what you think. The stone is deteriorating and is hard to read. I went into the office at the cemetery, what they have on file (from the certificate they were given at the time of burial) for his wife is Mae Graves Knowlton died 2/12/1935 she was 63 years, 8 months & 1 day old. Section S - #386. The stone is under a big tree and the discoloration could be because of the tree.
