Bio and Links
Bio Photo (Click the image for more.) I do this to honor and pay tribute to those who came before us. I travel frequently to explore family history and enjoy documenting family history for myself and others. Many of the memorials I've created are for people with a family connection--others are ones I've done while walking cemeteries searching for family, and I'm happy to add links, information and corrections. It's a site for sharing, so I've taken volunteer grave marker photos in many states across the U.S. and Canada. Those who follow up with a 'thank you' (since, oddly, about half do not)...'you're welcome.'

DeMars Memorial is Magnificent!
Find A Grave Memorial# 44888550

Your work on the DeMars memorial is just fantastic!

Are you related to the DeMars line?

Just connected with two Cousins (Cousin connection confirmed by DNA) from Minnesota that are connected to the DeMars (Olchefske, Geisbauer, Tomczak, Probst are also connected) line.

RE: Keel in Birdston Cemetery
Thank you. I looked back at the photocopy of the Steward Bible and what I thought was a "T" is probably a "J" and is J. V. Keel in the FC Marriage Records. Do you think Margaret Malinda is buried in Birdston in an unmarked grave or in Stewards Mill in an unmarked grave? If you wish to email me direct, use Thanks! Mike Bonner

Keel in Birdston Cemetery
Margaret Malinda Steward married Terry V. Keel in 1859 in Freestone Co., TX. I think she died before 1870. Is this the Keel family in Birdston Cemetery the same family?

Thank you for the photo.
Hello, tdemars

The picture of the marker for Grave Memorial# 16725505, Rev. Moses Speer, is excellent. Thank you. I take it that there was no marker for his wife, Amelia Ewing Speer, found.

Thank you for your contributions to Find-A-Grave.
