Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my families for over 30 years. Currently, I'm trying to scan & share a large collection of old family photographs and documents that have come to me from various relatives, mostly my late grandmother.

As I scan & prepare the photographs, I'm trying to post as many as possible to findagrave for others to enjoy. Especially the very old ones. Some that are labeled are not of known family connections so I'm also researching the names in an attempt to identify them.

One that I am very proud of is Jesse Elton McEwen, buried at Palms Woodland Cemetery, Miami-Dade Co FL. It took a fair amount of research to figure out that he is probably not related, but simply a neighbor of an ancestor in Carroll Co GA. I've created a memorial for him with the information I collected. Please visit his site and show him some love.

Another memorial that I'm very proud of is for my ancestor, William Francis Marion Nobles, who died as a prisoner of war at Camp Douglas IL. His final resting place is Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, Cook Co IL. Please visit him also.

I hope you enjoy visiting my paternal great grandfather, Hilborn Whit Hulsey. My maternal grandfather, Rev Virgil Sizemore, preached his funeral before there was a family connection. My parents were only 10 years old and I don't think they met until a few years later. If you know any of the people mentioned that aren't linked, please let me know.

Surnames I'm connected to include: Ashworth, Barnett, Beam, Black, Burks, Cates, Clore, Crow, Dickson, Dunson, Gilbert, Hendrix, Hulsey, Leathers, Lowe, Lyle, McBrayer, McGlathery, Meadors, Mobley, Mote/Motte, Nobles, Pate, Parr, Pinson, Reid, Sanders, Sizemore, Stanford, Steele, Stephens, Tomme, Vining, Waldrop, Williams, and others.

Places I'm particularly connected to include: Laurens Co SC, Henry & Clayton Co GA, Carroll & Haralson Co GA, and Blount & Cullman Co AL.

Williams
Is it possible that Elijah and Judith Williams are buried in one of the 4 Williams cemeteries that are in close proximity to Union church? I know where all of them are located. Look at my Williams memorials(Madison county) to see if you recognize any of them. The Tolbert cemetery is close to them also. I don't remember exactly where it's at, but I'll try to figure it out. FYI--The JC Williams is the closest to Union. There are unmarked graves at each of them. Probably some unmarked at Union, but less so. Just curious.

Freida Smith (112163081)
Would you be so kind as to transfer Freida Smith (112163081) her husband, Leon Smith (112163160) and their son, Marcus Smith (112163229) to me? Freida is a first cousin of my wife.

Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Thanks,
KWJones

Re: Sarah Sims
Info added as you suggested. I did a search workd wide for Unity Burks. Two came up, but both were younger.

Do you know if her parents are supposed to be buried in the same County and State? If, so, surely a library has an older cemetery book or something with their burial locations in them. You can still make them memorials and show their graves are lost.

Have a nice valentines Day.

John Thomas Stone
DebbieZ, Since you left a flower for my Grandfather, John Thomas Stone from Waco, Georgia, Carroll County, I am wondering if you know someone in the family or if you might be related in someway. He was my Father's Dad.

I'm sending you copies of the photos I took along with my guess as to what they say. Let me know if you don't get them.
