Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please feel free to use any of the photos I post on this site! God has blessed me with the ability to photograph these headstones, so this is my way of giving back. So many wonderful people have photographed and created memorials of my family members! Frequently, my grandchildren will appear in the headstone photos that I post. They go with me to each cemetery and love cleaning up and placing flowers. Teach them to enjoy while they are young!

I'm a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 7. I have been researching my ancestry along with my sister Debbie. We have really enjoied hunting and searching for our past. Find A Grave has been an excellent source of information for us. I feel it is very important to contribute to this site and do it in a manner that is respective and accurate. I'll be glad to take volunteer photos. I'm located in Adamsville, Jefferson County, Alabama. I am willing to go to Walker County any time.

If I have made a mistake on any of the memorials that I have created or maintain, please feel free to send me edits. If you are a direct relative and would like a memorial transferred to you, please make your requests via the edit tab and I will gladly transfer unless they are also my direct relative.

Some of the Surnames that I am researching include: Cairns, Roberts, Ragland, Rouse, Campbell, Creel, Cruce, Palmer, Mueller, Sherwood, Bradley, Entrekin, Ford, Smith.

Forest Hill Cemetery Photo Request
Hello,

I saw your request for a photo in Forest Hill Cemetery and am contacting everyone on the Find-A-Grave website seeking photos in this cemetery.

I will be traveling through Birmingham within the next few weeks. If you contact office and get BLOCK# , and LOT #, I will gladly search for this grave. Please get as clear info as you can and put this in the burial plot info if you are manager, IF NOT, in the Photo Request additional info, thanks. Without a BLOCK and LOT, I have no real method of locating the burial place here. This is a LARGE cemetery.

You can call the cemetery office during business hours to locate the burial plot; emails do not work. However, the office did send me a map of the section that I am interested in. You may email me personally or place the information on the Find-A-Grave website but I may not see an update on the website if I am traveling.

You can email me at arherrod@gmail.com or just reply to this email. If you write “Forest Hill” in the subject line, I will know to add your request to my list.

The telephone number to the Forest Hill Cemetery office is 205-592-7279.

RE: M. Lorraine Michels tombstone
We did see other Michels but did not know who you might have already, or who was already posted on find a grave. If/when we make another trip, as Bellevue isn't too far away. I will take photos of other Michels we see.

RE: Cousin
Hi Pam,
I'm sorry to hear about the house fire. I haven't heard from my Aunt Francis in a while, she is so busy but I talk to my Aunt Joyce a lot. My Telephone number is:
205 639 9102, I would love to hear from you also. I am researching our family tree and I have a lot of entries and a little bit of information. I will be adding a lot in the next few weeks. I stay busy but don't we all, lol. I know it is very busy being the mayor. I deliver mail for a living and I also design and develop websites so I stay busy too but would love to take out some time to get to meet you and know you.

RE: Louise Earl Jenkins
Thanks so much! I changed it with thanks to you! Any idea where his parents are buried? I also changed the mistake in his name - dropped the e in Louise to make HIM Louis! You are such a kind person! Love hearing from you! Robin
