My maternal grandparents were Wm. "Sellie" North and Madge Irene Latimer. I have been working on the Latimer line since the 1970's and saw that you had a lot of entries in the Latimer line on Find A Grave.

I am Doris North's daughter Gwen. We attend the Jerry Latimer reunion almost each year. Perhaps we can share our research. My email is

Great to see others interested in the Latimers of Carroll County, GA.

Hi, I am very interested in Nicey House Fowler as a possibility for my ancestor, mother of William H. Fowler of Georgia. If you can share information on the House family with me, please contact me by email. Thanks.

Ora Hill Bailey Pittman
Thanks for the suggestions -- i accepted them all.
I don't know Pittman's first name.

Ora was my great aunt. My maternal grandmother (Rosa Lee Hill Dodgen) was her sister.

Oralee Childers Calvert
Ellece, I took the Childers off the headstone (to be her maiden name)so I just removed it as a maiden name. It sounds like a sir name but we know we can't always go on that. Thanks for calling this to my attention.

Thank you Note
Just like to thank you for the transfer of the Melears. Also I read your bio and I couldn't agree with you more. If it hadn't been for my father I would have never known anything about my ancestors. He had so many family stories and now I have taken his place.
