re Mt View photo request
It would make photo volunteers job easier if you could call or email the office at Mt View and inquiry where your ancestors are buried and if they have a headstone. If there isn't a marker, all you'd get is a photo of the location of burial. :/

I located Thomas's grandparents and great grandmother today. Thomas does not have a stone. He may well be buried there, but in an unmarked grave - not unusual for that time and place. I have not yet located his parents.

I'm thinking that the obituary may mean that he is buried with his ggm in the same cemetery, not the same plot, but given that the rest of the relatives are there, I'm not feeling real positive about that.

1 1/2 large sections (older burials) to complete this cemetery, and I am giving it my all, but so far, no good news for you.

RE: Edward D Blount
I do find Edward Blount's death certificate online, he passed in 1973 and also donated his body to medical research. Just created a memorial for him and linked him to Ruth. Would you like me to transfer them to you? Do you want a link to his death certificate?

Thomas Kramme
Please do post his obituary information with citation on his memorial, so that as I find Krammes, I can link them through.

RE: Thomas David Kramme
Hi, Carolyn,

I am walking the Pleasant View cemetery, and that's where I ran across Thomas's information. Because I have friends who are Krammes, I dug a little bit and found Thomas's obituary, but could not readily find his parents or siblings.

I have not gotten into the old part of the cemetery yet, where I believe I will find Thomas and his great grandmother, whichever side of that family it may be, but who else, I do not know. All the information I get will be posted here on Find A Grave as soon as I find it. I wish I had more information to give you right now.

But his obituary is a start, yes? Poor little lamb.

Hopefully, you'll hear from me soon if this miserable rain gives me a break!!

RE: John Gilbert Tuel
As your husband is closely related to Melissa and Andrew Tuel, I've transferred these memorials to you and will leave it to you to update relevant details.

Melissa likely was born in Washington County, Oregon, as her parents were married there May 29, 1863 (source, Oregon Historical Society, Index Collection, accessible on I've not seen supporting documentation to prove this, though, other than Funeral Home records you'd sent me back in 2008. By 1870, David Holt Bingham and Mary Olive (Keys) Bingham were residing in Farmersville, Tulare County, California, according to the 1870 Federal Census for that place.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

RE: John Gilbert Tuel
Nice to hear from you. John is my 3 great grandfather through Ida C. (Tuel) Johnson O'Donnell Johnson. We were in touch several years ago and exchanged information & pictures at the time. I'm glad to field any questions or share info to the extent I can.

Hope all is well.
