Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began visiting local cemeteries for my family history and quickly changed to photographing all or as much of a cemetery as I could and posting the photos or entering a new memorial if there wasn't one before. I hope to help those looking for their ancestors, and also to preserve and document the gravesite. So many stones are deteriorating rapidly, and natural or man made catastrophes are endangering some cemeteries. It is vital that we preserve this information for future generations. I also find it very peaceful to walk in our local cemeteries, and a connection in knowing that many many years ago they walked the same ground and lived their lives here.

If I have maintenance of a memorial that is related to you and you wish control, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will gladly transfer to you. I believe they belong with family.

Feel free to use my photos as long as it is for family history or genealogy related matters, no commercial use without permission please.

I stopped off at the cemetery on the way home from an eye doc appt...dilated eyes, not good for taking photos...will try to get better ones when I can see and shoot straight..and clean the stones a bit. do you know if elsie e. weber was a sister to Eleanor? I thought it was austins grave at first..surprised his was far behind eleanors. It has been rainy and miserable here , but the sun just started coming out before we left Elm Grove. It is a lovely little cemetery.
glad I could help with the photos.
best wishes
d.

RE: A V DeMarsh
You are welcome. By the way, did you have his death certificate? I found it to verify the date difference from the stone. Let me know if you need it. You probably already have it, but I thought I'd ask :)

RE: A V DeMarsh
We (my sons and I) tried to find them. We found 2 other DeMarshes, but not Maria and Thomas. They were in a different section of the cemetery. I would bet they are buried near by without a marker, or a lost marker. If I remember correctly, there were no other stones very close to A.V. I will have to catch the grounds workers when I can and look at their books. I will try again to find them. The cemetery is big, but nice weather is around the corner and I love the walk time. It took us 3 days to go through the whole cemetery the first time. Of course, you will be notified when I find them. Take care!

You are most welcome! I will try to get back and take a more clear front photo. I'm not satisfied with the first.

Hi- stopped by Mt Pleasant to pay a visit. Could not locate Ruth's marker. Also, columbarium did not have record for Al. Can you provide any more info on where he is located? Thx!

RE: Louis Jiggs Little
Thanks for that information! I found a transcription record for Louis Little (1904-1968) and added him - see Memorial# 104705153

Do you still want any memorials transferred to you?
