I am working on a summary of pensions of Civil War soldiers from Fulton Co, Illinois for www.illinoisancestors.org/fulton. May I use your grave photo for James K. Strosnider for this project. I will be happy to give you photo credit. Thank you. Janet Turnbull

You added a note:
"First name Marion. Served in Union Army in the Civil War.
- James Henkel
Added: Jul. 17, 2012"
All the records we have show him in the CSA not Union.

Stanley and Edward are listed as two different people on the same headstone with different birth dates.

|SLJ||William H Milligan obit|
Thank you so very much for posting the obituary of William H Milligan on his memorial, Find A Grave Memorial# 3735501. I just noticed it.
Did you find it on-line? I'm trying to find his two brothers, John & Harvey. John disappears after 1900 and Harvey died sometime between 1900 & 1904 possibly in San Bernardino. From the obit, it looks like Harvey (Harry in the obit) may have died after William.

thanks! ... that helps
if you have Stites in your tree ... it appears that according to Jacob's 1850 US Census, he is a neighboring farmer to his sister Edith who married Wm Stites
