There seems to be a FLAW in the way the new edits are being done, spouses are coming up in bright RED UNKNOWN, when in FACT it is RIGHT, I have had this happen when I send edits also, hopefully this can be fixed. I have been saving the spouse # and re-adding it after the edit is done.|
PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. If there are a lot of requests only the ones listed might be taken when it's a quick stop. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.
It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.
I know it's important to have "facts", some think an official document such as birth, marriage or death certificate is correct. Sadly that is NOT always correct. There will always be conflicting information. Don't get upset when there is an error, just do your best to try to have it corrected, when there is another source, add the information in a note for one or the other. Try to always be nice, this site is great to help find our roots and follow all the branches. :)

|Jean Kuzon||Carl Ferdinand Vogt|
Thank you for much for maintaining the page for Carl Ferdinand Vogt.
I've been trying to correlate my mother's maternal family history for her and just found out last night through email correspondence with the seminary where my great-grandfather, Rev. Emil Vogt, had studied that he and his wife had lost an infant child named Carl while he pastored the church in Friedens.
My mother had never heard of this child prior to last night, as her own mother (who was Rev. Emil and Emma's youngest daughter) had passed away when my mother was 2 weeks old and then her grandparents (Emil and Emma) passed away when she was 5 and 7 years old.
I have put in an edit request to have Carl linked to his parents' graves in St. Paul UCC cemetery in Jansen, Nebraska, where he will be joined with the memorials of his four siblings also.
Thank you again for taking care of this precious infant's memorial until he could be reunited with his family through Find A Grave.

O K Luella, Thanks for staying on top of this for me. Maybe we will get this done eventually. Dale

Luella, I have been trying to track down where Kenny & Donna purchased their Grave Stone and so far I haven't been successful to get Donna's death date on it. I talked to Kenny yesterday and I asked him about it and he said that he hadn't done anything about it yet. He said that he will be in Pawnee City this weekend for his High School Reunion, so maybe if you see him you could Jog his memory. I hate to be too PUSHY about it!

I'm new to this site. I was searching my son's name and found it. I noticed the Dragonfly you added to his page. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, The dragonfly means so much to us.
Your addition of the detailed photo of the inscription to this memorial is very much appreciated. Thank you!
Regarding your question about "what Button Camp 1088 M.W.O.A.- Adopted April 9, 1900 would mean" it is in reference to an insurance company called Modern Woodmen of America. More information and links about it can be found at the library and here:

You are welcome!! Still can't find Daniel & Catherine though.
|Gordon Thomas||Photos for Jenkins and Duncan|
Thank you for very quick response to my request for photos of the Neil and Lola Duncan monument and the Phillip and Melinda Jenkins monument and stones. I am surprised to find their graves in Pawnee Nebraska. Although I knew they had lived in Nebraska at one time, they had moved to New York and Pennsylvania later in life and I believe they died in the east. It is curious to find the monuments in the Pawnee cemetery. I very much appreciate your contribution. It is a long way from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada so a visit to the cemetery was unlikely.

I will continue to try to find the answers.
|Harold howell||Araminta Spencer no. 74508628|
Sorry I have to do this this way but it wouldn't let me send it through edit but Araminta Spencer parents are James Neibert and Amanda Arminta Auxier.
Have a great weekend and a great week ahead.
