live in Oakland and began my family tree quest and then realized how important this info could be. Focusing on Evergreen Cemetery and creating memorials for photos I have taken. Slowly completing one section at a time saving the biggest for last; leaving breadcrumbs for others to follow in their quest for information. Quite sure I have missed many marker photos, but have a large photo library. Sadly many are damaged, hard to read or missing. Please check with me if you would like to use a photo since I return on a regular basis and take newer and improved photos as I search for missed markers. If I should create a memorial for a family member, more than happy to transfer to you. The info is usually limited to the marker photo. Thanks to REHM for all the bio info provided for my photos; thanks to family members and other researchers who have also provided bio information. We all do this to give a voice to those gone before us; and to help others to find some answers.|

BJ, thanks for adding all those records! Minnie was my great aunt - sister to my grandmother. I would like to take over her record if you don't mind. Seems I'm finding new family information with increasing frequency!

Just wanted you to know that Benjamin's parents were close by, so I got them as well, Benjamin and Carol Hudgens.
|Ted Schmitz||RE: William Reyburn|
William Reyburn was a first cousin to my great-grandfather; their mothers were sisters, maiden name Herndon.

I don't see Jane & Thomas that were born in 1853 in our family tree, according to the records I have but since they're from England, too, there is always a possibility. Or from another Odgers family.

Thank you for updating her memorial information. Related? too distant to consider like 4th cousin 1 x removed. We descend through the Thomas and Catharine Bartholomew McNaught family from Owen Co, IN. I am trying to complete the family history tree on Ancestry.com working through Findagrave.com. Thanks again. Yes, Harry was married to my 4th cousin, 2x removed, Lulu Goldie Winfrey. They were divorced before 1940, because he had a different wife on the 1940 census and his tombstone. Even though they were divorced, I try to make sure the info is correct/complete.

Thank you for the marker pic!
Marker shows mother Vitella and her children Meta and Frank.
Vitella's husband, likewise Meta and Frank's father, was Benjamin S Voorhees. Data confirmed from Meta and Byron H Canfield's marriage license. "Meta" was a nickname as her full name was Emmette Louise (Voorhees) Canfield. Vitella's maiden name was Miller.

Thank you for finding Meta Canfield's tombstone and taking the pictures. The obits are priceless and even more so because they mention her husband. your help is a good thing (to quote Martha S.)

Sure, I'd be happy to take them. Thank you!

Gerome B Bump is correct. The name was hard to read, but after checking my records Gerome was Jay's (John) father. I am a distant relative in CA, most of my direct line is in the South.
