Ya I have got into the habit of always looking at the backs of headstones (and the sides and on the base) for additional inscriptions.

From what source were you able to obtain a picture of my Great Great Grandmother Mary Ann Mosher Monroe Memorial # 32294386? The reason I'm asking is because it's the only picture my family has ever come across. We would love to be able to go to the source and make an updated copy or better yet be able to obtain the original. Thank you very much and hope to hear from you shortly. Joe

For older graves a lot do not have markers. In section A there are areas 50 feet square with 0-5 markers in them yet they're full/mostly full.
In that part of section F I'd say 60% don't have markers. I just helped a family last week that I found wondering around. We found the grave which was just a few feet from the Nichols, but there was no marker.
The office has a record of if there's a marker or not. If they say there is there is, if they say there's not there's a small chance there is.

|runner9||Whitehaven Photo Request|
You have a request for a photo from Whitehaven in Mayfield, Ohio. I'm trying to clear the backlog of 49 requests. The office is helpful but with 49 request and 3-5 minutes each the time adds up quickly.
If you could please call the office at (440) 442-1400 and ask for the section and plot information I would be happy to take the photo. You can message it to me or update the photo request.
I'll try to get there within a week of getting plot information.

You're very welcome. It was a beautiful monument in a very lovely section of the cemetery. Still it breaks one heart to see a woman lose so many dear little babies like Sarah did.

Thank you, but you did most of the work by contacting the DPW and requested the cemetery information. It was easy to take the picture once I knew where the plot was. I was surprised to find his death occurred in Maine and I'm not sure where he was born as I was unable to find him in the MA VRs. It's sad to see he wasn't given his on gravstone, but put on his mother's as a seeming afterthought.

I hope it worked, I'm new to this. Let me know If you need anything else. Best wishes. Tom

I took my dog and did 8 requests today. What a great day we had. Some were quite a challenge. Have a good day.
