My name is Spirit Baker.
My maternal family is from England surname's Hall (Hull) and Doane (Doan)(Dunn) with Armstrong from North Ireland and Scotland. My paternal family is Eli Baker from NY and moved to CT in late 1800's and then my Grandpa, Norman Baker, moved to MA.
I gather a bit of info from FamilySearch and add it to the bios. If you see an error please let me know and I will promptly update.
Thank you and good luck with your searches.

Thank you Spirit Baker for finding and photographing four Chadwick gravestones for me. Your effort is very much appreciated by me. I will share with my cousins who, with me, are learning about our grandparents.
Did you search for your relative's memorial by name and not by number? I'm sure I've seen some memorials disappear, also. Find a Grave added one memorial 10 times, and it added one of mine 3 times and did the same to some other contributors. I had one case where I couldn't retrieve the memorial by name OR memorial number, and the only way I could reach it was through the link in ancestry.com. Find a Grave can be really quirky sometimes.

Have you got a source for the birth and death information in your update? Thanks

We're at geneaologywise.com. It isn't the same old gang, but some of us are still there often enough to keep up on the latest. Look forward to seeing you there soon!

Thank you so *very* much for heading out to the Sherman Family Cemetery for us! I believe I put in this request for Cathy in Texas so I'll pass on the information to her. Hope to see you again in the chat room. Stay well. And thanks again!! Happy hunting!

You're very welcome! I always try to transcribe the stones so that the information doesn't get lost over the years - it can give us so much information.

Spirit, Sorry for the confusion. I made the claim on all those graves in the Stone Graveyard, some were requested just this year, but I claimed all on the list as yours and others have been on there awhile. i just got out there because of bad weather here and did not see the marker you are looking for. I did not send you a note stating that I had a picture nor do I wait for requests. your note must have come from someone else who may have taken photos of that cemetery awhile ago. There is another Teresa that also does photo requests. I suggest you make a new request since someone out there seems to have the picture you are looking for.

Your memorial for Theodore led me to Cushing Cemetery in Mattapoisett, MA. I'd never heard of the city, let alone the cemetery, before.
I'm strictly a Family Find A Graver; 99.9% of my memorials are for folks who are connected somehow. I'm currently researching Westcotts, and Theo's third wife was Ruth Hazel Westcott.
They were only married six years before he died, but she kept his surname. Thanks to you, it was possible to link them up.
