Mollie Levy
Fellow Find-A-Graver, our Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati have already photographed ALL the Jewish Cemeteries in SW Ohio, including the resting place (about .5 miles from my home) of your Mollie Levy = Hamilton Cemetery (under the Our Cemeteries tab).

(Under the Genealogy tab)
http://www.jcemcin.org/genealogy-2/

Searching on Mollie Levy and the Hamilton Cemetery will get you information and a picture.

If this is adequate, then the task is done, if not, contact me and I will take another photo for you.

RE: John Johnson 1866-1922
O, yes....John and Mary Johnson buried in Hillcrest; it took months to find them. I was told that they were originally buried at Evergreen, then moved.
I do not know when that stone was placed with the incorrect dates for John. (B:1827 on the headstone, 1829 on death certificate; D:1898 MI records, 1879 township records)And just this year,I have found the Swedish records of birth-1830. So, you see the John and Mary on the stone are the same as in the memorial.
Yes, I remember running into a Johnson family up north; not the same.
Henry started out as Johan Henning Johnson. Your guess is as good as mine whether he used Henry or John or a combination. Jennie Johnson, sister, was born June 23, 1879. Since the rest of the family remained in Montcalm county, or close by, my first guess would be that John Henry did also. Mother's maiden name: Maria Katrina Granat, although on her death certificate it reads: Mary Josephine Johnson.
From my previous notes, not rechecked, I have a John Johnson, 1910, Delta MI,b:1866; John Johnson b:1866 married to Sophie Anderson in 1892, Marquette; a John H. Johnson b: 1866 D; Escanaba in 1904; and at Hillcrest, Six Lakes a Johnson who died in 1949, no B date.
The 1891 marriage sounds plausible.
I appreciate your search - new eyes are always helpful.

RE: John Johnson 1866-1922
Johan Henning's parents were John and Mary Johnson. He was born in Sweden and living with parents in 1880. From there on he is a little hard to track down. (All those Johnsons in Michigan!)

John Johnson 1866-1922
You have kindly posted a photo of the headstone for John in Monroe Cemetery, Montcalm County. I am looking for a John Henry Johnson born in 1866. I cannot clearly read the inscription on headstone-can you help? Thanks

Yes I am related to the Wigents. I'm not sure where I got the name Manerva, it could have been handed down with family information or another source. I have no note as to where I got it.
