Born 1955 in Middlebury's Porter Hospital and always lived in Bristol VT. I have genealogies of many of our families in Chittenden and Addison County. My wife, Denise Grace is also from two doors away. Two teenage sons, Jonathan and Jacob. Don't be afraid to ask me to turn over any of the memorials. You are welcome to use my pictures but photo credits would be nice. I am happy to transfer anyone not related to me so that they can go to someone that knows them. Also, a lot of my photos are not great so let me know if you want another try I will see what I can do. I will also delete any pictures if you let me know that you put a better one on. I will not delete all grave pics to make room for family pics.|
****Please use the EDIT button for additions, transfers and corrections*****
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. If you create a memorial and it is listed as Burial Unknown or is listed in the wrong cemetery, then I am not going to find it before I create a memorial in the correct cemetery. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. I do check the cemetery listing prior to my addition and will know if any have been placed there after mine. As per Find a Grave, memorials listed in the correct cemetery (regardless of the memorial being created later) will always have preference over Unknown Burials. Memorials listed in the incorrect cemetery also fall under the category of an Unknown Burial because the burial place was obviously unknown if the person is listed in the wrong cemetery. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials. I do also make mistakes but this is find a grave site not add an obituary.

|A Girl Who Loves Genealogy||Hello my good friend!|
Whew...finally did get our dear Carolyn transferred over ...changed her name to Carolyn versus Caroline because your wonderful headstone photo showed such!
Hugs of appreciation sent your way!!!!
|A Girl Who Loves Genealogy||Hello there Allen!|
Lovely getting your note! Do you have that memorial number for Carolyn Fee. I was just searching for her but could not find her! She disappeared one me. Thanks a bunch!
|Michael Sawyer||Irving S. Jenney|
I called the cemetery today and it turns out they were Catholic and Irving and 5 of his kids were all buried at St. Mary's in Brandon. Just thought I'd let you know. I'll get the memorial put together by the end of the week. Thanks for everything!

Thanks so much Alan.
Irving died in Vergennes, but lived for quite a while in Brandon and had 4 children who all died there. They were not Catholic, as far as I know, so they all should be buried at Pine Hill Cemetery. There is a small chance Irving could have been buried with his parents at Brookside Cemetery in Leicester, but the death certificate definitely says buried in Brandon. Thanks again for your help. This is really terrific!

Hi Mr. Lathrop,
I just want to take a moment to say thank you for your great photos of the Stephen Jenney grave site. Such a nice surprise coming home to this wonderful news in my inbox. Now I just have to figure out where his father, Irving S. Jenney is buried, before I create the memorial for him. His death information says he was buried in the town of Brandon. Another mystery to solve. Feeling very thankful for findagrave and folks like you.
All the best,
|Michael Sawyer||Stephen C. Jenney|
Hello Mr. Lathrop,
I was wondering if you would consider transfering your memorial for Stephen C. Jenney, #114526799, to me. He is a distant cousin and I would love to write a bio for him.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
Just to give you a heads up, you have three duplicate memorials in the Prospect Cemetery for Grant E Shortsleeves. Can you delete two of them and leave this one 113632899 since it's the only one linked to his wife Cecile Danyow. I'd appreciate it!

Alan, do you have any information that would explain the date discrepancies on the headstone versus the dates on the death certificates? Also, I have seen Julia "Bridges" and Julia "Bryant" on various certificates/census. Do you know if she was married before Edward Lathrop? Thanks for any info you can give me!

Thank you for the photo of Luther Ezra Dike. We appreciate you and all of the other volunteers who take the time to go and get the photos of our loved ones who are no longer with us. Keep up the great work!
