Bio Photo I have been an avid researcher of the Hibbitts Family Genealogy since a very young age. My research has led me to believe that most everyone is related, somewhere down the line. So I continue to search and visit cemeteries. I have a database of over 36,000 names associated with the Laurel Co., Ky. area. Visit my web site at www.hibbittsfamily.org I up date frequently especially the family database.

Hello David,

Yes, please, if you think she would not mind.

I would like to contact Bonnie Pike Hibbard.

Would you switch to my email address to send her name and address?

Thanks very much,

Hello David,

Thank you so much, it would be so helpful. I have the cemetery recorded as New Salem, but I find I am doubting myself.

There are just so many of the cemeteries, so close together, I definitely could have it all wrong!

I have an on-going project, where I am trying to document ALL of my father's 1st and 2nd cousins.

My father was one of 6, 4 reaching adulthood and 3 having children - but his father was one of 11, ALL reaching adulthood and all having children; his mother has full and half siblings.

At last rough count, he had over 58 1st cousins and about 108 known 2nd cousins!

I have close to nothing on "Aunt Line's" families or her children.

Hello David,

You posted the photo of her monument to her memorial, Find A Grave Memorial# 7729846.

Would you please keep her in mind over Memorial Day if you go out to the cemeteries?

I got an email asking if she is actually buried in Wyatt's Chapel and I don't know for sure.

There are so many of the cemeteries we visited the last time we were down, but it was several years ago.

IF you are able to double check, please take photos of her resting place with the spouse she is buried with, so the markers are together in the photos.

Thank you very much. Currently there are 2 memorials for her on Find A Grave, if you can verify the cemetery, I'll ask Find A Grave to merge those memorials.

Thank you very much.

Oscar Robinette
I am looking for the Father of Oscar Robinette who was born in Harold Kentucky? He was my Mother's Father. He was married to my Grand Mother her name was Martha Kidd. I would really like to talk or email someone who may still be alive and are able to remember them I know it may be a long shot. But I am only after the truth of who his parents were. Was it really Elbert Robinette and Martha Collins or someone else.? Thank you for listing to me. Jamie 55 of Ancestry. Com. email address is jfranks1956@gmail.com. They were my Mother's Parents. Her name was Addie Robinette.

RE: Parsley Cemetery???
Hello David,

Very cool, I did NOT notice that, just assuming that it was Laurel County.

That just goes back to that rule about reading carefully and then analyzing the information.

Thank you, I'll start with Google maps.

RE: Parsley Cemetery???
Hello David,

Do you know of any cemetery in or near a Pilgrim, KY?

Another Find A Grave member and Laurel County, KY researcher - Elaine M. L. (piglet) - sent me a LY Death Certificate of Moses Parsley, the son, who died in 1913.

It clearly has as the burial location, Parsley
Cemetery, Pilgrim, KY. Interesting point, the undertaker is also a M. -- Parsley and the informant is a Bertram Farley.

Does any of that information ring a bell? The KY Death Certificate is dated January 9, 1913.

Thank you,

Gaye Hill

Parsley Cemetery???
Hello David,

While I am NOT directly related or researching the PARSLEY family, but in the course of my own research, I came across a very long, detailed obituary for a Mrs. Patton in the Mountain Echo newspaper of 1888.

It states she was interred "by the side of her husband, in the family burying ground of M. L. Parsley" - do you know WHERE that might be? Or if it has changed names?

I will enter this on Find A Grave regardless, but it would be nice to make it accurate.

Thank you very much.

George and Louise Brietfield are in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. I created memorials for them and am trying to get them linked with Christie.
