I make a concerted effort to confirm all info I enter, including family links, by accessing as many reliable resources as possible. If anyone offers corrections and/or additional info, I will probably transfer the memorial to you unless I have a personal interest/connection.|

Thank you for his headstone photo.

I've seen that spelling. I think obviously from the markers at that cemetery. I love when life does that... contradictions. :-) Thanks GPoppa!!!

There is no stone. His death certificate gives his place of burial.
Good to hear from you. I have just returned from the genealogy conference in Providence- had a wonderful time.
Thank you for the great picture

Would you so kindly transfer My great great grandfather Jesse Platt (#120814668) his wife Isabelle Sloan Platt (#136616367) to me. My id # is 48183949. I am trying to get all the family together and input the info I know and confirmed as well as photos. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the photo of Leoniece's headstone. I will pay it forward.
Laura Palmer was definitely not in the family plot. A few of them I got the path location, but I couldn't find the path on the map. A few I didn't bother with because they were infants (I hate spending the effort to locate an infant grave; obviously nobody is descended from the infant) and some I didn't ask for the plots because I just knew I wouldn't have time.
I was in Oak Grove today and found myself using the Find A Grave app more and more. It seems to work great if the stone is legible and doesn't require contrast enhancement. It's nice, too, because it automatically adds GPS coordinates. So, yes, I'm liking the app more and more.
I do use the app occasionally. But I get better results if I use my LX3 camera and process the images in Lightroom, then upload from the desktop.
