Back in the late 90's my Uncle Joe & Aunt Hope took my Sister Pam and me on a road trip to visit the graves of our Perkins Ancestors. |
Well, three cemeteries, 30 photos & several mosquito bites later, I was a hopeless addict.
I welcome corrections and information on all my memorials - if they are your family, I will gladly transfer ownership to you.
****Please Note **BACK ON LINE** I NOW HAVE INTERNET CONNECTED!! Sorry it took so long, I am now working on answering my many messages!

|Rover||Memorial for Jane Smith (Dobson) Hughes|
I am curious if the information you have on this page is for a relative of yours or if the info is taken from a cemetery stone or record?
I ask because I am searching for the final resting place of my first cousin, Jane Smith Dobson, daughter of William Dobson and Agnes Donaldson, born 12 Oct 1900 in Northbridge (Whitinsville), Mass, who married Harold Earl Hughes on 26 June 1920 in Providence, RI. My Jane died in 1934 in Worcester, Mass. She and Harold had one daughter, Lois Jane.
Hoping, anxiously, for a reply.

Glenda, thank you so much for the transfer of
Aunt Sadie and Uncle Charlie. I remember Aunt Sadie especially because for several years I Picked her up at least 4 times a week and took her to church. She was a real character and a lot of fun.

|Joseph Hall||Alfred Edwin Hall|
Alfred Edwin Hall is not buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Douglas, MA. I know the stone says he is, but it lists no dates. My grandfather Raymond and Great Grandfather Arthur are buried on the opposite side. Alfred Edwin Hall is buried in Whitechapel Cemetery, Northbay, NY.

|Madeline B||Laurentia V. (Hazelton) Stone|
I was glad to find your cemetery record on FIND A GRAVE for Laurentia Stone in Pine Grove Cemetery in Douglas, Mass. But I'm quite sure she is not a daughter of Theodore Stone. She is the widow of Edward F. Stone, who is a son of Theodore & Sally Stone of Douglas. His birth is recorded as 30 July 1815, and he is also buried in Pine Grove Cemetery. They had a marriage intention recorded Aug. 5, 1837 in Douglas. She is Laurentia V. Hazelton of Woonsocket, RI. She is the daughter of Peter Hazelton and Huldah Whitcomb, and her birth was 26 April 1815 in Townshend, VT. In the 1850 census, she and her husband are found living in Norwich, New London, CT. They have no children, and he is employed as an Overseer at an Ax Factory. He died in 1856 of consumption. Laurentia had siblings living in Rhode Island, and on 15 March 1859, she married Abishai Bailey in Providence, RI. He was also originally from Townshend, VT, and his 1st wife, Maria Austin, had died in 1856. He lived in Saratoga Springs, NY. She died in June 1959, just 3 months after they got married. Her death is recorded as June 1859 of heart disease in the 1860 Mortality Schedule for Saratoga Springs. She was thus buried, not with her current husband, but with her first husband in Douglas, MA.
|Jamie Lea||st denis cemetery|
My name is Jamie and I saw a posting from you from St Denis Cemetery. The woman Marguerite Lamontagne Tousignant. She is my ggg grandmother. You posted a pic of her grave. I was wondering if you could give me some directions so that I could find it in the cemetery when we visit. Also I was wondering if you knew anything of other relatives that may be in the same cemetery. I am also looking for her parents. I have absolutely no information on them at all and I would love to have it so that I can continue my ancestry search of her family. Any additional information that you can give me would be much appreciated.
