The only rule we follow is the Golden Rule. We'll treat you kindly no matter what you ask of us. Transfer? Sure. Edit info? You bet. Use our photos? Absolutely.|
What we've learned during our Find-A-Grave journey is that life is too short no matter how many years you get. Walking through a cemetery slows you down, makes you reflect on the mark you will leave behind.
Be kind, people. When it comes down to it that's the only legacy worth leaving.

|Tom Burch||Recent transfer of Burch Family members|
I thank you for the transfer of Elmer Burch, which is one of my great uncles. All the others you sent are from a different branch of the Burch Tree. They belong to Harrison Decator Burch, brother of Thomas Jefferson Burch, who is my ancestor. Thus all the others are cousins and I would be happier if someone else had control of their files.
I see you have a memorial for Mary Haslach, wife of Henry Haslach. Would you have any idea if he is buried alongside of her? I cannot locate his burial. Thank you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Jindrich, I would like to ask if I may please assume management of my great-great-great-grandfather Bernard Laughrin's Find A Grave interment records. He is my father's mother's father's father's father. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Richard Ziers
|Barb Dohlen||RE: Geraldine Lempke Maggert|
Dave: Geraldine Maggert could be in the cemetery but not reflected in the records. The lastest printout of the cemetery list shows no person with surname "Lempke." There are several names "Lembke" (thinking spelling error) but no Geraldine. What I recommend is to write to the board member with the records. He is working on updating them. He has all the original cards. His name and contact information: Frank Phillips, 300 Chestnut Street S.E., Elkader, IA 52043. Hope this brings results. Just visiting in Elkader. Barb

|Kathryn Shaw||Johanna Enwright|
Hi Dave and Pam:
I'd love to be the caretaker of this grave, and have you transfer it to me. Johanna Enwright is my Great Grandmother (Esther Enwright Rafferty Stover-Esther Stover Shaw-Kathryn T. Shaw (ME).
I'll take some time to read the rules, etc, in a bit: I am going to Illinois today to search the cemeteries in Polo, ILlinois for my dad's family.
I'll be back to you, thanks
