RE: Elmwood Cem. Photo Request
Nothing at either of the 2 plots I listed?

Dang.

Thanks anyways :) Do you happen to know if her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Marechal, have a stone(s) at their plot locations, as given on their memorial pages? (290-0040-07-0 and 290-0040-08-0)

RE: Elmwood Cem. Photo Request
Thanks for the reply! I'm in totally no hurry at all, so thanks for just replying at all :) I have another request though, sorry...would you, when you go, also be able to get photo(s) of Mary M Gettelman (or Gettleman)'s parents, Peter and Mary E. Marechal? [After 1st husband, James Scates, died, she remarried a Mr. Gettelman, or Gettleman.] They are linked to from Mary M's page and their memorial pages show what their plots are. Also, if Mary M is not at the plot I listed in my last message, she may be at 460-0290-07-A instead.

Thanks again :)

Have a good one,

Elmwood Cem. Photo Request
Would you be able to get a photo of Mary M Scates' headstone (which should be at plot # 460-0290-07-0) for me? Her page is here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=86267907
Her husband's page is here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=84239255

I'd greatly appreciate it if you could.

Thanks : )

ELMWOOD CEMETERY
I have info via a family story that JOHN A RACKHAM 1874-1911 is supposed to be buried there with his parents; Thomas T Rackham 1827-1898 & Sarah Ann "Annie" Brown Rackham 1842-1907. There is a photo of their headstone but not site or plot attached. Do you have time to galavant around to look?
Respectfull request,Paulette

RE: Young in Carlinville
Highly unlikely relation, since our Youngs settled Brushy Mound (outside C-ville), and Jacob was the 1st-gen. She doesn't descend from any of his sons. But I'll email you a recent Descendant Report...

RE: Young in Carlinville
She's not in my tree. Mine descend from Jacob Young (1821-1867) & wife Elizabeth Weiden (1817-1878). Family oral history days they spelled their name Jung at time of arrival, originating in Alsace-Lorraine. They'd change their name from Jung to Jeune, back to Jung, depending on whether German or French troops were occupying, to avoid getting beaten up. True-to-form, they changed it to Young shortly after arrival in US, though some Census records name Jung. Interesting how yours has a "k" on the end, as it's pronounced so in German, but never spelled that way. Anyway, I have many loose Young ends stemming from Carlinville area obituaries, which I'm gradually stitching together. If you know Phillipine's parents and grandparents, that would be helpful.
