If you take a better headstone photo than I have posted, let me know so I can remove mine, but please do not add duplicate headstone photos that show no additional information.|
Anyone is welcome to use my headstone photos for non-commercial purposes.
If you are taking photos of your ancestors' headstones, please also take photos of some surrounding headstones to post on Find A Grave.
Consider adopting a local cemetery and taking photos of all the gravestones!

Are you related to William Levernier?
If so, would you like a copy of the Missing Air Crew Report (MACR) from the Air Force Historical Research Agency?

Place of death specifically Bougainville. It's in the Northern Solomons, so Solomon Islands would also be accurate.

That's my guess. I visited several years ago and took photos --- my GG Grandfather. Have tried to work with Islesboro local Coombs' and Historical Society with no luck ... local Coombs' aren't interested in genealogy and the HS is volunteers/part time. Oh well, life's mysteries? Cheers, Barry

You noted you checked the Bayview cemetery records re Clara E. Coombs ... thanks ... all links done. Thanks too for the transfers.
A quick question ... do the cemetery records you have access to mention any specifics about Jonathan Brown Coombs? His marker at Bayview says he died in Havana, Cuba on a ship. Haven't been able to determine if he's actually buried the or its just a marker (most likely buried at sea?).

Hi do you have any more info on this lady? The number is 25150547.
I believe this is my grandmother's aunt, but if I had a last name I could verify it.

Thank you! You added Albert Joshua Wiggin from the Grove Cemetery in Belfast this past January. I just came across it today. I did not know when my great grandfather died until today, nor where he was buried. Thank you for what you do.

Thank you for the transfer of Fred Maddocks, and thank you for all your contributions to Find a Grave.

Regarding the above, is there any way to check funeral cards as to who bought grave of C Ganson? I have seen then on other sites but don't even know where to look for those. Maybe it's just in more organized cemeteries or larger ones? Have you ever run across a place to access funeral cards? They have even given cause of death, who paid for plot, family who signed etc? Just wondering.
Thanks for your help too by the way! Barb :)
