Bio Photo My husband and I are avid geocachers, and have gotten in the habit of photographing cemeteries while on our frequent road trips throughout the Midwest. We try to fulfill as many photo requests as we can, or will simply snap a few shots of interesting headstones. Many of the memorials we have created were the result of photographing random stones and finding that they were not already listed on Find A Grave. If any of these memorials are relatives of yours that you would like to manage, we will be happy to transfer ownership to you. Just ask!

Pat LaCroix
LaCroixs' at Immaculate Conception Cemetery
I am looking for the burial of two infant children of Jacob LaCroix, Jr. (1850-1934) and his first wife, Margaret Janson (1853-1883). I know the mother died at the time an infant daughter (also named Margaret) died. The infants were Hubert (b. 02 May 1881 and d. 07 May 1881) and Margaret (b. 13 Aug 1883 and d. 23 Aug 1883). All my information suggests they were buried at the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery. Any and all information would be of a great help!

Good Morning "Denmother", I found the 1900 U.S. Fed. Census, in that, Jennie's DOB is the same as the one on the gravestone in your photo. Needless to say I am delighted beyond belief ! Thank you for wanting to transfer to my memorial & I would so appreciate the photo of her gravestone too. I cannot tell you how much this means to me as Jennie was my Grt- Grandmother. All the best, Barb.

Springdale Gravestone
Hi Denmother, I attempted to email you but it was a no go, so am posting a 'public message RE : #130953024 ... the 1st name on that stone is "JENNIE" ... DOB: Dec. 22, 1880 ... DOD: Sept. 20, 1903. I have a Jane "Jennie" Davis-Voight, DOB: Jan.12, 1881 (?), DOD: Sept. 20, 1903 # 104846964 ... I am thinking that they are the same person. I wanted to let you know . I will contact Springdale Monday to see if they can help. Barb

RE: James Ellington Photo
Thanks so much, his 3xgreat grandfather is buried here in Rockingham County, North Carolina. I put flags out on his grave when I can. He died during the Civil War, leaving a wife a several children. She pack up her children and moved to Indiana to live close to her parents and a brother who had already moved from NC. It was interesting to do their family tree as we distant relatives with a common ancestor Daniel Ellington.

Thanks so much for the gorgeous photo of his grave site. Do you mind if I use the photo on a family tree? Thanks again for going out taking the photo and then uploading it to findagrave.
