Please send me any corrections or additions, and they will be added promptly.|
Any photos of graves that I have taken may be used by anybody as they see fit. As I see it, that is the purpose of this website.
Rudeness will not be responded to. Please be civil in your tone and words.
Please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial page to offer corrections on memorials, as this makes it easier for me to locate the correct one. This includes now the new feature that allows you to make the family connections yourself, instead of having to send a message to me.
Please check the "EDITS" tab on your Find-A-Grave profile page to see if you have corrections to approve or disapprove.
If you would like a memorial transferred to you, please ask. I will happily transfer any memorial to a relative who falls within the FAG guidelines, unless the memorial is of a relative of mine.

thanks for the photo
|Record Keeper||Hiram Helmick|
Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph Hiram Helmick's monument listing. I really appreciate all the effort.
Everyone knows about the horrors of Andersonville. Not everyone knows about Camp Douglas. War really is hell, regardless of the color of the uniform.

You did a beautiful job on Mary's virtual grave. Are you a relative? I'm a relative of her cousin Monsignor Daniel J. McCarthy from Brooklyn and am trying to trace Mary's family as well. If you are a relative, I'd love to correspond further with you.

Thank you for trying to get a picture of his name on the monument, but I don't see his name. Maybe I am looking at the wrong thing. Let me know if you can. Thanks so much.

|Marian Johnson||Durrs in Oak Woods Cemetery|
Thank you for transferring the photograph of Frederick G Durr to my memorial. I am curious about why you took photographs of some of the Durr family, and not others who are buried in the same plot (Division 5, Lots 171 and 172.) Are there no markers for the others? My records list the following Durrs buried there: Lot 171- Olive Durr, Willie Durr, Caroline F. Durr, Kate Durr, Benjamin C. Durr, Caroline J Durr Dalton, Samuel A. Durr and George Durr. Lot 171 - Frederick G Durr, Maud Annie Durr, Frederick J. Durr and Ernestine D Brown Durr Howard (remarried after Frederick's death)and other people not related to me. Then across the cemetery in Division 4 Lot 29 I have Louise C Durr Rehbein and her family Florence Rehbein, Albert H. Rehbein and Albert H. Rehbein, Jr. Is there some way you can determine if there are markers for the abovementioned people? Marian Johnson (#47442963)
I just wanted to let you know how much the photograph of Private Eleazer Corder's memorial photo is appreciated! The plaque is most unusual and very interesting, a very important part of our nation's history indeed. Warmly, Helen
