|Anonymous||Adolph Rateike Grave site|
Adolph Rateike was never married; he is listed as single in the 1900 census as living with his brother Alfred.
Johanna Marquart was the second wife of Julius Rateike (Adolph's twin brother) and the children Adolph born in 1893 and Walter born in 1897 are two of their children. Johanna and Julius were married at 1st Bethlehem Lutheran, Chicago in 1892. Johanna later married Henry Grewe.

I knew that relationship because she's a direct ancestor but I didn't know how to change someone else's listing and I didn't want to add a duplicate. Thanks!!

My source is her French birth record available online through the Bas-Rhin Archives: http://etat-civil.bas-rhin.fr/adeloch/index.php
I suspect Lingenhausen is now part of or known as Nehwiller-pres-Woerth.
BTW don't be thrown by the French spelling of their names as that is how a French speaking clerk wrote their names. I always try to go by how they wrote their names. You can probably find many more records that may be helpful to you on the same website.
Dear Concerned Find-A-Gave Contributors and visitors,
Regarding: DUPLICATE MEMORIALS in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia
A former large volume F-A-G Contributor had a dispute with Find-A-Grave staff and Deleted some 80% or more, of their contributed memorials, estimated to be about 40,000 or so. Thus causing the rest of us local Contributors, over the last year or more, to re-enter those family, friends and distant relatives we noted were missing.
Once F-A-G had decided to take positive action, they reloaded all the Deleted memorials from that former F-A-G Contributor, on Wednesday, 25feb2015. F-A-G staff, undoubtedly knew they would cause tens of thousands of Duplicates, and assigned their staffer, known as 'ProjectMgr' to work through their Merge process.
Please be patient and allow F-A-G to work through the entire group of Duplicate memorials.

|C. Granberry||RE: Granberrys Sunset Memorial Lawns|
You asked last evening if I am related to these Granberrys. I'm not. I became aware of these memorials because Emma had been linked to one my ancestors who I knew had a daughter, Emma, and I knew that I had been able to locate her burial place in Texas. Your question regard their links to each other peaked my curiosity. I'm always interested where Granberrys might been be - they certainly wandered around the country. If you find anymore Granberrys, I would be interested in looking into history.
Thanks again for entering the memorials.

Charles C. Granberry has been much more difficult to locate than the others. I cannot locate any Census record with him listed in Illinois but here's what I have been able to locate. I have entered edit requests to add what I have discovered.

I have entered edit requests for Phoebia Granberry to reflect the following information. She married Newland Jones Phelps and evidently divorced; although, I cannot find a record of the divorce. When Newland Jones Phelps registered for the WWII Draft, 1942 in Chicago, he did not list Phoebia or Ada Ann as the person who would always know his address. It appears, he married again and moved to Alabama where he is buried beside his second wife.
