Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please allow thirty (30) days for edits... I have a life outside of FindAGrave.com.

With the exception of links, POB/POD; I usually DO NOT accept blind edits, so please do not be offended when I request your source.

TO POTENTIAL CONTRIBUTORS OF "ADDITIONAL INFO":
I appreciate additional info to memorials which I've created/maintain, but PLEASE LIMIT your info. This site is called FIND-A-GRAVE, not "Find The Genealogy History Of...".
I do not feel it at all appropriate to turn a memorial into an entire "genealogy work". Certainly it will be ONE, OF MANY valuable resources for genealogist' in their research.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will not accept "cut & paste" items from FamilySearch.org. Aside from it being PROHIBITED by their website, it's just tacky, tacky, tacky!
BTW...
For those genealogy novices' who like to think every "record" hosted at FamilySearch.com is correct, THEY ARE NOT, as any seasoned genealogist will attest. For the purpose of this site, I record dates as inscribed on headstones. When presented with the possibility the stone info may be incorrect, I will certainly add a note regarding alternative dates.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Need to contact a contributor who has submitted edits/Info for a memorial I maintain? Cut & Paste the following link, then enter their ID#.

***I DO NOT POST OBITS, post 1922***
Please refer to Find A Grave's rules of use under FAQ, by clicking on "Help with Find A Grave" in the left-side menu.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will not list a person who does not have a DOD inscribed on their stone, unless I have verified their death. Many people have pre-ordered their cemetery markers for the "inevitable", thus their name and DOB being posted online BEFORE THEY DIE, is a violation to their privacy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I endeavor to compare NAMES and DATES, so that I don't create an entry for someone previously listed by another variation of their name, so please let me know if I have duplicated a memorial.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOTE: 99% of the headstone photos I've added are best viewed when "clicked-on".
Headstone photo's may be copied to other sites WITH the proper citation to FindAGrave.com., but photos of INDIVIDUALS MAY NOT be used on ANY OTHER WEBSITE without my permission.
RE: Traxler
sorry about the confusion
my brain aint never right
We have a heavy gullah/german accent
so I'm sure it sounded like something other than traxler when we said it
So I need to find out about the Traxler family
and they might lead to mine
Are you on Ancestry.com?
Traxler
Do you know of any connection Sheriff Traxler had to SC?
I'm trying to find places that my ancestors might have lived in FL in the 1850s.
Was there any relation to Sheriff Traxler and the town of Traxler, FL?
Can you email me?
RE: Clemie Gaskin
Liz. I appreciate your query.
[1] Re: name change: as far as Clemmie's middle initial,"A" on her TS is acceptable to me.
My Source for initial "M" is FL Death Index 1877-1998 on Ancestry:
"Clemmie M. Gaskins 1938 Pasco Co. FL"
[2]Re: Parents
[a]Marriage Record Pasco Co, FL bk 1 p.303
24 Oct 1897 Allen Lee Lyons & Ava Tucker
[b] 1900 census Richland, Pasco FL p207
Allen L Lyons & Avie A Lyons and Clemmie Lyons
[c] 1910 census Arbukle, Polk, FL
Avie is listed married to 2nd husband: Joseph R. Carver. Clema Lyons (age 10) and George Lyons (age 6)are Joseph Carver's step children.
[d]Marriage Record Pasco, FL bk 2 p 571
5 April 1916 "James F. Gaskin & (Mrs) Ava Carver
If you need further info let me know. Again, I believe in accuracy in all genealogy or family records put online. So much is erroneously copied and mushrooms into a multitude of wrong information. Pat Lyons PML
RE: Stella Smith
Hi Liz,
The only source I have for June 1890 as Stella's birth date is the 1900 U.S. Census. I understand
your reluctance to change the date from what it says on the tombstone. So leaving it as 1891 on her memorial page is fine with me.
Take Care,
Tim Dunlop
