Find A Grave Memorial # ---------, Photo added by: Camillia --/--/---- (date added) ***

I have been researching my family history for over 16 years and have found quite a few interesting characters along the way... :)
I spend a lot of free time in cemeteries, not only for my research, but because they are peaceful and very interesting.

My family names are: Nichols, Driggers, Dyess, Dias, Shipp, Lanier, Strawn, Henson, Bailey, Bradley, Williams, Peterson, Young, Pendarvis, Hiers, Post, and many more. I am related to everyone buried in Sand Pond Cemetery (Levy County, Florida), I have many relatives buried in Cedars of Lebanon (Levy County, Florida), Dog Ear (AKA Black Dirt) Cemetery (Marion County, Florida) and Red Level Cemetery (Citrus County, Florida).

I am willing to transfer any Memorials that I create, provided they are not my family members, but that depends on which of my family you are willing to claim. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With the exception of a few family members and the Florida State Hospital memorials, most of my memorials are created from the photographs that I take. I enjoy adding the photos more than anything. It's my belief that a family member who can't travel will find these memorials and be able to see their loved ones graves.
Due to me duplicating memorials because of several Burial Unknown's, I have been trying to double check every entry, but some may slip through. Please tell me if I've created a duplicate or if I am in error on any of the memorials I create. & PLEASE don't get upset if I duplicate a memorial that is spelled wrong, or has misinformation on the original, let me know I duplicated and contact the manager of the original for corrections. Since 95% of my memorials are from photos I take, if I duplicate a memorial that is not listed under the same name/information as in the photo of the headstone, please let me know and I will attach the photo to the correct memorial.
Thanks to all at Find A Grave!! Ya'll Rock!!!
RE: M. A. Adderhold
Yes, I think it was handwritten and later transcribed when typed to "M". The surname is so odd that it has to be same person.
Also, there are brothers Richard and Robert Dallas....young black boys living with grandparents in two censuses and then both died at the hospital??? Looks like it.
Also, found a sailor from Key West who died there...he is entitle to a military grave marker. He is one of my memorials you gave me.
Do you know that there is a group of old vets going to funeral home after funeral home in FL checking the ashes of selves that no one claimed to see if they are military....a couple of dozen of the jars of ashes were interred in the National Cemetery in JAX last year when their military status was proven....with full military honors. I couldn't help to think that they may want to get this guy a stone...if his actual grave could be found.
Yes you may use the photos, thanks for asking. Please use the Find A Grave Memorial # as a source citation. Do you have a public Ancestry Tree? I would love to exchange info with you.
Where?
Have you been able to find out where Babe Heffernon was buried? I live just outside of Philly so I was hoping to visit his grave and pay my respects. I met him once and he was a really great guy. Thanks, Bill
Many thanks
for your second set of eyes...after a while, the letters and numbers just start to look a lot like Campbells Alphabet spaghetti
Thanks for posting the Henson cemetery pictures. I have been to this cemetery and taken pictures as well. Raleigh was my husbands Great Grandfather. I very much enjoyed finding the picture of Raleigh & Alice's 50th Anniversary.
Hi! Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, ladies didn't get full billing back in the old days. Would you like me to transfer the grave to you? Be happy to do so. Let me know, Rob
