John Claude Hammer

I am afraid that we have 2 different John Claude Hammers. My great grandma was his half sister and I have photos of them all along with his mothers hand written family history.

I wish you luck in finding the right one.

Oscar Dyer White Co. Indiana
Hi Charlie,
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to find a grave. Unfortunately at the time you sent the information about the Oscar Dyer, my Dad had been killed in a car accident a couple days prior. It's been a long 4 months since his death. We are just now getting back to a more normal routine within the family. Of course that will change when we finally go to bury him in a few weeks.

He is the link to the Dyers in White County.

As for the different last names of some of the women, it's hard to say for sure what they all are. With marriages and just bad recording of women's names.

If you would like to email me, my yahoo account prefix is lrmcgrattan.

re: Susan Stoner Burkholder

Have been researching the Stoner family for many years. This Susan is my gr grandfathers sister. As far as I can tell all other Stoner graves in this cemetery belong to the Frederick Stoner (1813-1879) clan. It was a marvel to see a picture of Susan. Where did you get this photo and might there be more Stoner family photos where that one came from. Would be thrilled to find a picture of her brother Frederick (1848-1891)who was my great grandfather. Have never seen a picture of him....

Margaret and James Dyer
Moved them to Dyer Cemetery - Webster County, WV.
Can't find notes on why I put them in Pendleton County. Also have the Roger Dyer book.
