Hi Lori,
I have been working in Find A Grave attaching pictures of different people. I decided last night that I would put one on here for Phoebe, came here and you beat me to it.
Hope you are doing well, haven't talked with you in a long time.

Milford Cemetery requests
Milford Cemetery old section was surveyed in 1943 and re-surveyed in 2001. There is a map and alphabetical index of all remaining tombstones. This grave is not on the map/index. This does not mean the person is not buried here, but that there is no tombstone remaining. The picture posted is the map/index.
There are two other Jonathans with stones, but not this one.

Hi Lori, I have located the headstone for this individual. I will be posting pics soon. They are hard to see. The headstone is written in German but the wonderful volunteers at the cemetery have translated them for their records. I have both versions if you'd like but I am adding the english below.

In english it says:

Here rests one redeemed and saved Joseph Zum Broh. He was born in the year 1729. He left behind God beloved wife Ev Maria and 7 children and died 1783.

Margaret Poage Hamlin
That's just sad about your granpa's father running out on his family. That seemed to happen a lot back then and often were never seen again.

Lori, I tried to delete your picture, but the directions on F.A.G. for doing so stated that you had to be the one to delete it. I worked quite a long time at it until I had the idea to go look up the reason for not seeing a delete button. I will go ahead and post the new picture for you, and if you would like to have a better copy of it just email me and will send it and would be happy to share anything I might have on your family.

I'm sorry I spelled your name wrong, I have a niece named Laurie:)
I'll see if I can replace the picture of Margaret you posted, I know how it is when working with copies that are copies, but sometimes that's all we have to work with. The younger picture of Margaret I posted is about the same, but it came out of an old newspaper and hard to fix just right.
I'm always happy to meet new cousins~

Have you seen Hannah and Conrad's memorial yet?

Hi Laurie, Thank you for adding your picture of Margaret Poage Hamlin to her memorial. I don't know if you know this, but there is something wrong with her picture. It is very faded and lite. If you have a better picture of her you might want to replace it.
I have that same picture of her with her two brothers and their wives, and Nathaniel if you can't get it cleared up.
Again, thanks,
Nancy

RE: John J Elliot
I'm assuming that James was their son.(I put a photo of James headstone on his memorial page) If your standing facing the headstones, they are from left to right; James, Ethel, and John. Then their is a William Elliott one row back and to the right of John's. If there's ever any other pictures that you may need just let me know, I'm more than happy to get them for you. Have a wonderful day.~Susan
