Bio and Links
Bio Photo I found this site while working on my family tree centered around Gene Autry, OK. I was so thrilled to have found pictures of my little sisters graves so far away. When I started my husband's tree, based in Stark, NH, since some of the cemeteries weren't listed, I decided to work on documenting all the graves that I could. I try to gather as much information on each as I can, in case it can help someone locating their relatives. It has become a very interesting hobby.

I love photographing these old cemeteries and finding long lost relatives for people. After all... isn't that what FAG is supposed to be about?? You are welcome to use my pics in your family trees. After all... the pics were taken for all of you.

The cemeteries in Stark, NH that I have completed are: Percy, Blake, and Stark Village Cemeteries. I still have to complete the Emerson Cemetery in Stark. I have completed Number 10 cemetery in Lancaster. The Colby-Collins cemetery in Warner is also complete.

I will gladly transfer memorials that are not related to us. I will gladly search for your relatives in my area. I will edit my memorials if the suggestions do not contradict the documentation I have on each one. I work hard on researching each grave because I don't believe blank memorials help anyone.

Don't order me to delete memorials because yours was there first, especially if mine is full of information and yours is blank and/or not even associated with a cemetery. Those help no one. No one cares who was get over yourself. Actually don't "order" me to do anything. I'm old and can get cantankerous ... so ask nicely. If you repeatedly ignore requests or suggestions from me think twice before asking me to do things for you. We're all supposed to be working together to make the best listing of memorials possible.

I don't care about how many memorials I put up but I do care deeply about memorials having the most accurate info possible. Otherwise... what is the point??

Billy Joe Mitchell
Oh my,

Just determined that J.T. Clyde Mitchell was not Billy Joe's brother. We do know that Clyde was a witness along with Imogene Terry at Billy Joe's and Oggletta Doggett's marriage ceremony. See above message for other details re Billy Joe.

Thanks, and regret the mistake.

Billy Joe Mitchell
Hi all,

Looking for info about:

Billy Joe Mitchell
Born apprx 1923 -- shows age 17 in 1940 census in Berwyn, Carter County, OK.

Father was Sam Mitchell(1892-1974) and mother was Oscar Mitchell. Brother J.T. Clyde Mitchell was killed in Normandy in 1944. Sister was Charline, and, some 13 years younger than Billy Joe.

Records show Billy Joe married Oggletta Doggett of Springer, OK on November 5th, 1941. Marriage records show Oggletta was age 18, and, Billy Joe was 21 -- actually he was a few years younger. Billy Joe and Oggletta divorced within 3 to 4 years, and, we know Oggletta married again. Oggletta recently died and is buried in the Saginaw, Texas cemetery.

Billy Joe was reportedly living in California in the 1970's and is currently about 90 years of age.
Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

RE: Mary Soper

Happy to help.
I've been slowly adding memorials for this cemetery. If it is any help, you will now find that all the known Soper graves have pictures.

RE: Alice Potter/Algier
It seems that it was only ones that were being worked on at the least for me any way. No one was getting emails either. Yesterday I got about 15 messages in my email acct. that I had already seen on Find A Grave days earlier.
This was on their Facebook page on the 18th

We are happy to report that the service has been restored. Thank you ever so much for your patience and understanding as we worked to resolve the issues stemming from the DDoS attack.

Happy graving!

Have no idea what a DDoS is...over my head! But it hit their parent company (Ancestry) and Rootsweb.
I think your stuff will probably be OK, just re check what you have been working on the last week.

RE: Alice Potter/Algier
Hi Shirley,

There is a date of death for Raymond, not for Joan. That is why I did not make a memorial for her. I did make one for Raymond, 131573522. There are photos there.
I will add one for Bunny, but I will wait a bit on filling it. I tried to fill requests this am for someone and the website went haywire. I guess they are still having issues from their hijack the other day. The memorial I posted with photos now has info and pictures for someone in Finland. And the other two in the same family that I was adding photos for also have combined info and photos. Have contacted Find A Grave and when I here back I will start filling requests again.

Alice Potter/Algier
Hi Shirley,

I was trying to fill your photo request for Alice. The only Alice Algier I show has dates of 1915-1981.
She is on a shared stone with a Raymond and Joan Paro.

Is this the same one?

RE: Mary Soper, wife of Joseph
Will send a little "cheat sheet" we have for using the FamilySearch CA death index/certificates. The ones for Los Angeles County seem to be the most complete, but there are some others that might be useful also.

RE: Soper graves
Hi Shirley,

You are more than welcome for the photos.
Not sure of any directory. I had actually photographed the entire cemetery a couple of years ago and have just my transcribed photos for burial info.
