Everyone wants to be remembered. I love history and to me that is what this site is about. The greatest reward in life is to be remembered. All photos I take are for sharing. I publish photos and create memorials for the benefit of present and future generations. If you want to post my gravestone photos on any website that you contribute to, include in the photo caption used with the permission of Rick Martin, Find A Grave (#47158008). Thank you. - Spike
Eakin family Hi Rick, I'm so excited to see all the photos of the Eakin family! My great-great-grandmother, Ida Eakin Napier, died just before my mother was born. We always heard that she was a "character" but never knew anything about her family. I would be glad to share info on her line if you are interested, and would absolutely love to hear anything you may know about her parents and siblings.
Michael Thompson You are welcome! My family is all Navy..I understand. Merry Christmas to you....You are a true good friend to make a memorial for him....he left wayv too young. Used to live near Oceana Naval Base 13 years...such respect for you guys! Bless You!
RE: Eliza John No problem. I've had these pictures on my computer and website (http://hank.deemer.com) and just go around to adding them to FindAGrave. I also just added one burial that was missed in the Bear Gap Quaker Cem. -- Susan Smith THOMAS, mother of Frankli and Elias who are buried there
RE: Eakin Family at Hudson Cem. Thanks Rick. I know there are a lot of duplicates because what I did was upload the entire cemetery registry spreadsheet from official records. It would have taken 100s of hours to input them all separately and find the duplicates. I've slowly been trying to find duplicates since the update and have removed about 30 or so. If you will give me a list of specific duplicates you are concerned about ill get them removed.
Downing Hi Rick, I will post the 2nd pic- if you don't like it- just remove it or I will. Also, I found the whole Downing Family and I am now putting them all in. You can take a look and see if anyone in there is helpful to your research. I had an inkling of what part of the cemetery they would be in and the moment I stepped in- there were two sites for the family . Michelle
