I find copying headstones interesting, I like finding interesting people with interesting story's. Most my family buried in the greater Philadelphia area but I live in the Harrisburg area so I'll copy headstones here. Worked inside most my life and wanted to be outside after I retired so copied headstones and published them in the Quarterly once issued by the Capital Area Genealogical Society.|
Please use 'edit' tab on memorial page for corrections and or additional information.
I now strictly adhere to the Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. No exceptions. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Please don't justify an out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information. Am perfectly capable of doing this, especially now with the new EDIT system - much quicker than transferring. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision.

|EARL H. LIPPERT||JOHN P. KNISLEY -- Find A Grave Memorial# 79891116|
I was reading over some of your messages and see that you must've been a little under the weather, so I'm hoping you're feeling better?
Anyway, I left a message earlier saying I didn't fine Minnie Knisely's husband, John P. Knisely, and now I see he is buried in the Baldwin Cemetery under the name of John P. Knisley, Memorial# 79891116.
I guess I'm getting too old for the way the name is spelled one way and then other places it is spelled another way. My head is spinning trying to keep up with everything. :>)
So, I found him and now on to something else.
Take Care and Keep Up The Good Work,
|EARL H. LIPPERT||MINNIE A. KNISELY -- Memorial# 80658046|
It's been quite a while since we last talked.
Thank You for all the work you've done over the years reading all the grave markers and posting them on Find A Grave for all of us who can't get around to do grave stone readings anymore.
Baldwin Cemetery, Find A Grave Memorial# 80658046
I finally found Minnie A. Knisely's Death Certificate. The D.C. transcriber has her name misspelled, so I had to look deeper for her information, using her maiden name of Peters, and her death date, but not her birth year, which is wrong, from the Find A Grave site, I was finally able to find her, plus she is in the 1900 census living in Steelton, but her husband must've died sometime between 1900 and the 1910 Census Report.
So, in 1910 & 1920 she is living in Lower Allen Twp., Cumberland Co., PA. And, in all 3 census reports, her mother is living with her.
I hope you don't mind that I placed an edit for her dates?
The information from her Death Certificate states she was born: 9 Feb 1868 in Reading, PA. And she died, in which the death date is correct on your memorial for her as, 27 Aug 1920, Lower Allen Twp., Cumberland Co., PA.
I just haven't found her husband, John Knisely, who preceded her in death. He might be buried in the Baldwin Cemetery? Maybe he doesn't have a grave marker?
If you would like a copy of her Death Certificate or any other information, please contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Best Wishes to You & Your Family, Earl H. Lippert
|Russ Ottens||John Maletich|
I placed a photo for John Maletich memorial no. 121459460. The stone has the dates 1923-1958. If this is not the right John Maletich, I'll remove the photo and make a new memorial page.
|Rick S||Hare and/or Harr|
I used the Hare name for Robert, Elsie, Ernest, George and Catharine because their gravestones show HARE and some of their memorials were already there. Censuses show the name both ways. Henry Senft's cemetery list shows a Hare family with the above first names and a different Harr family. I prefer the Hare name for the above. Does that work for you? The dups are George (42077693/43592037), Catharine (42638070/43613105)and Charles (42910663/43613177). Robert's memorial needs added. Elsie Naylor Hare is my grand aunt.
Hope this helps. Let me know.

She is our family. I would appreciate it if you would take pictures of the memorials. Her husband Henry and son Julius.
There are two other sons. Thank you so much. Janice
|Deborah Rudy||All my link requests :)|
The cold is keeping me indoors instead of taking headstone photos, so I'm linking husbands with wives and children. And sending edits to memorials now that I've added photos to them to document things. Not that headstones are always correct of course! But many THANKS for approving all the links so quickly!

Dear Mr. Viguers,
Thank you, I will check the circus information out. Sorry I didn't write sooner but I came down with the flu (so much for the flu shot!) and my computer crashed at the same time! I appreciate you checking into things for me. Hope all is well with you. If you ever need me to help look something up for you, I'd love to return the favor. Have a good day!

|KathyFournierJillson||RE: Agnes Kohr 123033701|
Hello again :)
Can you verify the spelling of her last name please? On her death certificate it looks like Knorr to me but I think it was alphabetized as Knarr at the site. Now you have it as Kohr. Just verifying.
And wow on Henry being one of 20 Wiest kids! Farm families used to be big. KJ
