Bio Photo ** HAPPY 2015 ** Getting caught up on my updates. Thanks for your patience. **

I have an avid interest in genealogy and preserving family history.

Thank you very much for your patience and kind messages. My health had deteriorated. Thankfully my health has improved. I'm back and will be much more current in keeping up with everyone.

I will be keeping my entries updated, and transfers where needed completed as quickly as possible.

I have no desire to be the highest submitter, but to hopefully assist in filling in the gaps that may someday be priceless to others.

When there are mis-entries, please email me and I will update the records I have added.

-------------------------------------------

Per the Find-A-Grave policy: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents."

As many people are related to the same people, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are the Find A Grave Guidelines. I will gladly add information provided.

If there is a relative that you can prove a direct connection per the Find-A-Grave rules, I will gladly make the transfer. No others.

Updating the many entries I have will take some time. Please have patience.

If you have information on a relative or on a non-relative feel free to send it and the memorial will be updated.

I enjoy doing research and fleshing out the details as much as anyone else.

99.9% of the contacts I have made through Find-A-Grave are the most fantastic people ever.

Hope my efforts are a help to others. Thank You.

Ora Black
The infant Black that died in September 1897 could be my great aunt Ora Black. She was born 8 Feb 1897 to Benjamin Daniel Black and Annie Ozina Porter. Their four youngest children, Evan Aldro, Lydia Margaret, William, and Ora all were buried in Huntington according to the book "Our Valley" by Rosetta Biggs, 1978. Also according to FamilySearch.

Some of these gravestone are new. Do you know who had them put on the graves? I am so grateful that someone has acknowledged them and would like to thank them. My grandfather was Benjamin Daniel Black.

parents of Elvina Hansina Olsen
Elvina Hansina Olsen was born in Habro, Aalborg, Denmark to Christian Wilhelm Olsen and Anna Johanna Eliadotter. Her father died in 1869 and her mother had to work. She immigrated to the United States with a Sorensen family and was later adopted by Pehr and Chritina Beckstrand Pehrsson. She did marry Isaac Edwin Black not an Olsen.

Hello,

I'm trying to decipher Michael Wayne's heritage for my daughters. Lee Roy Martin was their grandfather, living in Mingus, Texas. I suspect Michael to be an unknown half-uncle of theirs. Where did you get this information on Michael? Familysearch.org has a different father listed for him.

Thanks!
Paul

Oak Hill Cemetery Jasper County MO
I am looking for the grave of my husband's g-grandfather, Andrew Jackson Wilson born 1848. He possibly is buried in Oak Hill but I would like to verify it. Is there an office or any records available for the cemetery?
