Bio and Links
The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Frank Fiorello
Good Morning Mrs. LeClaire, would you mind if I add a bio to the photo you have for Frank Fiorello's grave in Redlands?

RE: Daniel Craig Jacobson
This is a puzzle since the cemetery has no record for Daniel's burial and it is not listed in his obituary. I'm frequently at the Roland cemetery, so perhaps I'll run into it one day. I did confirm he is not buried in the same plot as his mother.

Lora Cook (#27160579)
Hello Barbara,

I submitted some changes for my great-great-great-uncle Lora Cook's memorial page in order to link him with his parents and first wife. Thank you for all your work on this. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

I was able to locate both husbands and did the links, but not sure where her daughters are. Will keep looking.

RE: Military rank
That's nice to know. Now I don't feel too bad. I'll work on changing mine over time. I don't think too many people will object since our intentions are to honor them.

I have worked with some military people on Find A Grave and they never brought it up either. I'm willing to bet that most people are not aware of that, and Find A Grave does give you the ability to enter those titles.

I did read some articles on this subject and some military people said that the only place anyone should see their rank after they left the service is on their tombstone. So we are not too far off base.

Best Wishes........

Hi- Thank-you for the additional info as I didn't find her second husband but have added that to her bio. I manually linked her to her parents who are buried next to her. Please look at the memorial and see if it looks correct to you. Thank-you for your help.
