I am happy to transfer memorials-just ask. |
I welcome corrections, updates, links, and additional information on my memorials. Findagrave is a joy when people work together in the spirit of collaboration.
If a fellow contributor takes the time and trouble to send links and updates, please accept them in good faith. Findagrave does not require us to provide documentation at all, let alone several sources.
Thank you to everyone who has cheerfully added the information and links I've asked for, and a pox on those who won't. And thanks to the photographers who go out in the cold and heat to get photographs of stones for us all. Findagrave couldn't exist without the 'boots on the ground' folks.
Thank you to my Findagrave friends who help me with locating burials and stitching my pieces. Without you I'd have a much harder time, make a lot more mistakes, and not have nearly as much fun.
The lines I look for are Worsham and Moody on my mother's side, O'Quinn, Summers, Rentz and Kinard on my father's side.
If you have time, please visit the memorial of a great lady, my friend Winona Rhodes

|Joel Shore||Frederick Redfern at Mt Hope|
Now that spring is sort of here in Rochester, I went to Mt Hope today armed with some sheers and went at the bush that had grown up in the Redfern plot, and sure enough I was able to find the stone for Frederick and Blanche underneath. I'll post the pictures up soon!

Anna, I removed the obituary from your memorial, but the other memorial already has 5 pictures so I cannot add anymore. Thanks, Ernie

I regretted not congratulating you on your super sleuth work before I processed the edit. May have been years before she was linked to her family without your research. Thanks for all you do !!
|Diane Reich||RE: deleted photos|
Pictures were on Jane Lloyd, buried in Union cemetery Redwood City CA.
|Jay's Daughter||Unmarked Underwood|
I noticed you just entered a memorial in St. Peter's Cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina. I am looking for the location of an unmarked grave in that cemetery and the office can confirm the person is buried there but cannot find where they are buried.
I am hoping you might have an idea or go to person in that area. My aunt is going there later this week and wants to visit her brother's grave.
I am sure it is not marked. I believe it to be in the baby section. The person I spoke to a number of years ago said the record was under "Baby" Underwood. The person I talked to today stated it is under Neal Thomas Underwood. He died January 10, 1953 when was 2 days old. My grandpa was stationed at Fort Jackson.
Please let me know if you can help.
Thank you very much for your consideration.
I have deleted my photos, please add your pics. Sorry I did not respond sooner but I've been out of town. Thanks!
|Richard Hodges||Ragsdale Obituary|
Anna, many thanks once again for the posting of an obituary that adds so much to an individual's page, in this case, Minnie Ragsdale. It's very much appreciated.
