Taphophilia: a passion for and enjoyment of cemeteries.|
I am in the process of photo-documenting Sts. Peter & Paul cemetery in St. Louis. If you are aware of errors in any of my entries, please let me know. PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" LINKS AND PROVIDE YOUR MEMBER NUMBER (located next to your name on your member page) if requesting a transfer.
PLEASE NOTE: Because I receive a lot of email, I typically do not reply when sent an edit - just check back in a couple days and you should see it. I usually make edits within a couple days. If it has been over a week, please resend as I may not have received it.
Please don't add death certificates that are readily available on-line to memorials.
In addition to adding my family, I enter other graves. I am always happy to transfer a grave to a family member, or to update the grave as requested.
Families I am researching for my family include Mueth, Heidenfelder, Bockius, Buehler, Danneman, Frank/Franck, Freymyer, Meurer and Zieger--primarily found in the U.S. in St. Louis and Southern Illinois.
My husband's last name is Torrence. For him I am researching Torrence, Findley, Watt, Comstock, Peterson, Norton, Brown, Bieth, Sentman, Ritchie and Sixbury--from all over the Northeast.
Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to Ancestry.com or any other website or personal webpages.

Thanks for William's memorial and for his obituary. I knew he had moved to MO, but then lost track of him. Linda H

Thanks, very distant relative, I am sure there is someone who is a closer relative that would prefer to manage.
I understand about the guideline but when an obit is from a newspaper that is a public source it seems that it really matters little if names appear there or here. If the person did not want their name used they would have kept it out of the obit, but I understand the guidelines

Thank you for attempting to locate the grave marker for Catharina Biebel at Saints Peter and Paul cemetery. She was my gr-great grandmother. It is understandable that there might not be a marker as her family had recently come from Germany and just starting out. Thank you for checking.

That's not the reason was sending cert numbers but I will quit. I post them on the memorials when I have them.

Was wondering if you could transfer the graves of my grandparents to me? Viola Seemayer 47764809 and Joseph Seemayer 47764804. Thanks...Greg Moore

Katie, you're welcome. It's been years now since you requested Brown monuments in Cecil - subliminal suggestion, perhaps. Glad to finally hit a match... lots of Brown's in the region.
