John, you are welcome. I will transfer them to you if you would like for me to do so. I also have Pool in my linage on my grandmother's side. My great grandmother was Emily Judson Pool. I've seen it spelled with and without an 'e'...depending on the record.

Hi John - thanks for the message, it was interesting! My mom is Velma Kuykendall and she's done extensive research on her Pool family as well. It's frustrating that Rita won't correct the memorial, as it's misleading.
Rita isn't actually related to our Pool family. A few years ago, I found an article on her Grandma Susie (Poole) and sent it to her, to show that she is a different Susan Pool than the one in our line. She acknowledged the story and put it on her real ancestor's memorial (Susan Mae Poole Osborne #94864791), but refused to transfer any of our line to me (including my great-grandparents and gg grandparents). I guess at least she did add the bio's that I sent her, even though she has kept the flowers with misleading connections. It would be great though, if she would correct the Thomas Pool links, so good luck. ☺
Thanks again for the new info... Anita

I added a new photo of the military monument placed for Alan Mallory. I deleted the first one which was muddy and unattractive. The little cemetery project at Southview is almost complete now only about 100 markers remain that need attention, so one more sunny day will get it. Hope you and your are well. Bren

I apologize for the confusion, I sent two corrections based on the death cert that I got wrong, in that the Mrs C H was for Charles Hicks, not Harriett C. I will send notes in each to try to right my wrong interpretation.

I am sorry for being so slow to respond. He is buried in Midway Cemetery and not New Park. Midway was a church located about 12 miles North of Ft. Gaines on Hwy 39. It has been torn down. The cemetery was behind the church and needs cleaning. You can't see the cemetery from the road due to overgrowth. In the winter you can sometimes see the largest headstone as you drive by. There is an old gas station called Taylors store (abandoned) and it is behind there. I get to it from the Cotton Field. The intersection is New Hope Church Rd and Highway 39 in Clay County GA. I believe the house he may have lived in is still standing. It was the Dolly Coleman house. I think King lived there next but I am not 100%. The house is about to fall in. Many have tried to buy it to restore, but the owner refuses to sell it and it is too late now. I hope this helps you.
