My name is Elana Kahn, and I live in Boston, MA. I'm married to a wonderful man and have four adorable kids (7-year-old boy/girl twins, a 5-year-old girl, and a 2-year-old girl). I'm currently in grad school to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.|
My mom was always the genealogist in the family, so she's the one I always turn to for questions, but now I'm the keeper of the electronic records (on Geni and Ancestry). Unfortunately I do not live near where my relatives are buried, so I either have to travel or have volunteers take photos. Most of my family is buried either in Rochester, NY or in and around New York City. I've been using my research skills to try and find where many of my family members are buried and so far have been somewhat successful. I still have about 50 people to locate, though.
Here are the last names that particularly interest me and the most likely place for their burial:
New York City area:

Dear Ms. Kahn,
I think I may have located Jenny Rabuchin in Bayside but I want to check before I add the photo. The name on the stone is Stera Rabuchin and the date of death is April 1 1946 a the age of 86.

Hi, I went the other day and there still is no headstone.
|Marilyn Nolte||William Jeffrey Died 1876|
I believe you entered William Jeffrey into Find-A-Grave for Mount Hope Cemetery. I am doing some research on him plus his family as they are African American. The Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery, of which I am president, is doing a project on African Americans buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, New York. I wonder if you would share with me your interest in Mr. Jeffrey & family.Any information you may have, other than that easily obtained at Ancestry.com, would be helpful. Thank you.

|Lynda Puakea||Henrietta Goddard Wigglesworth Holmes|
Good morning, Elana,
I just came across your photo of Henriettaʻs gravestone. She was the wife of my 6th cousin 4X removed, Edward Jackson Holmes. May I use the photo on my private family tree? I always give credit to the members who graciously allow me to use their photos. Thanks you for taking and posting it.
|Ruth Domb DeSantis||Greenhaus|
Actually, Elana, could you please transfer all of my family's memorials to me for Greenhaus and Domb:
Frances Greenhaus Domb (my grandmother)
Abraham Greenhaus (my great grandfather)
Minnie Greenhaus (my great grandmother)
June S. Domb (my mother)
Abraham Jack Domb (my grandfather)
Harry Domb (my great uncle)
I would like to sponsor these and complete the info.

You entered the monument pictures for this memorial. Thank you! They look great! However, two copies were entered for each photo. Could you please delete one of each of the three pictures. Thank you! Ed ~
