My name is Elana Kahn, and I live in Boston, MA. I'm married to a wonderful man and have three adorable kids (boy/girl twins who are 4, a 2-year-old girl, and I'm pregnant with another little girl). I'm currently in nursing school and hope to eventually become a Certified Nurse Midwife, and in the mean time I'm a birth doula.
My mom was always the genealogist in the family, so she's the one I always turn to for questions, but now I'm the keeper of the electronic records (on Geni). Unfortunately I do not live near where my relatives are buried, so I either have to travel or have volunteers take photos. Most of my family is buried either in Rochester, NY or in and around New York City. I've been using my research skills to try and find where many of my family members are buried and so far have been somewhat successful. I still have about 50 people to locate, though.
