 | Peter Roberson/Robinson77722562 John Thanks for the information. I added it to the memorial if you don't mind. I feel that his name is Robinson and can be found in 1860 census in Meriweather Co. However I will hold that until more information comes forth. Thanks again. GordonAdded by Gordon on Jun 11, 2013 8:16 PM | | | Robert Lloyd
 | Myrtle Ogle # 22605941 I have transferred Myrtle's memorial to you. I graduated high school with Sid, his dad Willard was one of my teachers, my wife grew up directly across the street from the Ogle's so I knew them all of my life, all good people. Keep up the good work. Robert | | | Richard Thomas
 | question from an old post Dear Mr. Land,
I happened across this below on line. AJ Baker was my grandfather. I would love to see any old photos that you may have. And I can share any info that I may have.

I am trying to find the year of graduation and any possible background on the following cadets at Clemson Agricultural College (now Clemson University):
S. E. BAILES of Rural Farm Dist. 2, Fort Mill (York Co?), SC
A. J. BAKER of Adrian (Horry Co?), SC
R. H. "Rube" FIKE (not sure of last name) of Rural Farm Dist. 3, Cherokee, SC
Claude E. McLEAN of Jefferson (Chesterfield Co?), SC
D. ROGERS of Cleo, SC
H. C. WILBURN
I believe these six men studied and graduated together at Clemson. I have photos of the first five and an unidentified photo, which may be of WILBURN. Several of the others were inscribed on the back as being for H. C. WILBURN from his classmates. The FIKE photo was made at Wheeler and Sons Studio in Greenville, SC; the others were made at Anderson's Studio in Anderson, SC. These appear to have been made between 1900 and 1920, but are undated. Any assistance or direction in identifying these men and the year they graduated would be a great help - thanks.

 | Sunset Cemetery Sir,
F.Y.I., Sunset Cemetery and Bayou Gauche are one and the same. The official name is Sunset Cemetery. It is known to locals as Bayou Gauche Cemetery. I hope this clears this up for you.

 | Aderholt Cousins Hi John,
We actually are cousins on the Aderholt line. I'm descended from Emanuel Aderholt and Amanda James Madison Jones. We've corresponded before at least a few times, particularly regarding the errors in the Aderhold/t Collection in the descendants of Emanuel Aderholt. You mentioned previously that you are revising that collection to correct and add info. How is that coming? Let me know if you need anything.
Kind regards,

 | Jacob Aderhold Hi John,
Thanks for your message regarding Jacob Aderhold and the duplicate memorial. I haven't heard anything, but just sent him a message myself. Did you hear back from him at all?
Kind regards,

Thank you so much for the notice regarding Carrie Brown. I think you are correct, in that it was a duplicate. I went ahead and deleted it and I am so glad you noticed this. You have her memorial looking wonderful with incredible information. Thank you so much and I hope you have a great day. | | | | [View all messages...] |
