RE: Incorrect Photo
Don't be concerned over it. It happens. I've done the same, but thankfully have caught it right away. I probably have the simpler job of following up on most of these cemeteries and being able to focus on things that aren't right.

We don't want to loose any information. If they are both yours, then it's easy, you're call. If the original one isn't yours, then you need to forward or send in edits or post photos to the memorial that was created first, before removing the duplicate.

Hope that helps. Last resort, is you can email Find A Grave at edit@findagrave.com and ask them to combine the memorials. They will do what's right.

Good morning Pat! I really would like to keep the memorial you created because some people will remember her being there but what about having two different memorial numbers? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to cause this trouble!!! I'm going to delete my memorial and request a transfer from your original one. That way you still get the credit you are due! :)

I would just make a note on the memorial page of this grave being moved rather than delete the memorial. I guess that would be alright wouldn't it? Or would it?

RE: John Henard
I found an official death record on Ancestry.com that says he died 25 Jan 1934 in Spartanburg CO SC at age 88. It is certificate number 002843 in Volume 5 of SC Death Records, 1821-1961. It looks like his tombstone might say 1924, but if it does, I think the engraver may have made a mistake.

my "step" grandfather
I am trying to find my step grandfather in Lauren's, S.C. My grandmother was Ella "Pearl" Huggins Putnam and Mr. Putnam died in 1937. Some time after that my grand mother married Mr. Ball. Now that I am doing the family history, no one that is still alive knows what his first name was. My grandmother is married next to her 1st husband, Albert Putnam, but I cannot find Mr. Ball. If anyone can help me it would be appreciated. I know she had no married Mr. Ball before 1940 as the census shows that only she and my dad were living together.

RE: Infant sligh
I thought the same thing. But the dates match up with the death record and the headstone, and I can't find a death certificate for Claude Olin Jr.
