We are in process of resetting the stone that marks Ida's grave. Do you have any details about her short life? Was she following in her Artist father's footsteps. I notice her artist pallet on her stone.

I worked too late last night & managed to research 3 people you had already entered & taken photos for. Good grief. Julia C. Poullain, Felixina P. Wilson, & William V. Wilson. The family was quite fragmented & in filling in the gaps, I went too far. The new data has been sent to you via Edit & I have deleted my memorials. Please link William to his parents: Father #151335014; mother #110715330. (Maybe I did that!) And if you wouldn't mind, please delete the pure data that is now on Julia's Bio & use what I wrote out. She was a "maiden lady" whose life's story is so far unknown. I tried to give her a little family situation. There is still a duplicate for Julia. I will write the woman & ask her to delete, as what you will have is totally complete.
This is the family that owned the candy company & I found that Vincent Price was indeed the grandson of Osgood Peckham. His father became president when Osgood retired.

Thank you for posting her grave photo. I was searching for her for years! Barb

I remember you chase clowns :-) I'm not sure where the line blurs, but I thought of you last night when I was still working on this family. Google "National Candy Co STL" & you'll find some interesting history - & probably recognize their main factory near Gravois. Several articles for spooks claim that Vincent Price was the grandson of the founder & the actual founder was Osgood who had two wives & was your Frank's father, so this is possible. I sent an article for posting to Osgood's memorial which details his career, but it has not yet been posted. *Another family claims ownership* but I'm sure this can be sorted out. You know how it goes.

Sounds good Randal. I think they do something like put a block on anybody attaching someone to them. So kid aren't attached to graves AND cenos. Thanks so much. Take care, Barb T.

Randal - Every thing I've found on Mary gives her middle name as C or Catherine. which proves you can't believe everything even when its set in stone. You can find Floyd and Delilah and five of their children on the 1880 Montgomery County census, Samuel Wesley Collins age 20 has his own household with wife Missouri 21. The statement that Mary was the fifth of six children is wrong. She forgot her older sister who died at 9 months in Mercer Co., WV. This agrees with Delilah on the 1900 census when she said she was the mother of 7 and 5 were still living.
As for the death certificate the only part you can believe is the date and place of death. If a Doctor signs it the cause of death is probably reliable. You have to remember that a person under stressful conditions is being ask these questions with pencil poised to write the answers and probably tapping their foot with impatience. You start searching your memory for names and they end up quite mixed up.
Hope this is some help. Wilda

Missouri death certificate for Washington A. Ashley, death April 21, 1925. I can not find the cemetery he buried in.
William Riley Collins and Mary Katherine Bethel are not father and daughter. They are brother and sister. See their birthdates. Wilda
